The moment frog changed the station to Dubstep is one I'll never forget. Overall, this concept might be my favourite from the Jam. The jukebox, the absolute bonkers environment that makes you ask a lot of questions and the overall art direction of the game are lovely.
I did encounter a few issues during several playthroughs:
- The actual objective is not very clear from the outset. The stuff on the big billboard should perhaps be part of the menus or at least available to the player to pull out at any time into the hud.
- It's quite easy to lose early. The amount of time given, especially at the start is quite short.
- Occasionally frogs cannot be picked up and picking multiple seeds makes some of them stick to your "hand" permanently
Incredible work! I would love to see a full version of a game using this concept!
RIDICULOUSLY CUTE. The game felt super polished and intuitive. Managed to play several levels without bugs, and without having trouble understanding what I had to do. The overall visual language of the game lends it to be quite easy to understand which is commendable. Amazing work!
