If you noticed, the game starts as a hungover grandson on the roof, getting a call from grandpa. and the art for the end game background was made in such a sense to give you a feel of a loo. it shows the same mentioned grandson, drunk, again, lying face down on the roof. so the repetitiveness aspect was planned in a way. The doors are randomized every time you get into the level too.
as soon as we can we will update it to be a nice starry sky just like the one you can see in the options menu background. Shoutout to your youngest member of the art team for that one :D, thank you for your kind words
Have you tried knocking twice? if not, there's an updated web version now, with sound and mechanic on the neighbour working. thank you for trying out our game tho :)
thank you for the longer comment, I am unsure when we will be able to update our game files but when the jam voting period ends, we will continue working as we did not add any music or sounds whatsoever and there were some mechanics that we really wanted to implement too.
Thank you for the part about art and animations, we had a really good team of artists who did an amazing job!
Try disabling the antivirus for that moment when you are trying to start the game, it might be that the antivirus or windows defender is preventing it to start normally.
So sorry to hear that, I downloaded it right now just to check, Unzip it and run the exe file and it should work just fine. what is the problem you are getting
