Update: yeah the darkness problem was on me. I changed the brightness, closed the window in my room and was finally able to see the game properly.

Second update: figured I can edit comments. Also, is being "eaten by the entity" a valid ending? Because I honestly have no idea what happened there and I don't think I could do anything. This game makes me feel really stupid

Final update: Okay, | finally finished the game, properly this time. It was pretty confusing at first, then annoying, but in the end I'd say that it's a solid 7/10 for a small browser game. The gameplay loop is simple but entertaining, at least once you get the hang of it. My only suggestions are 1)include that wall of text explaining how to play into the game, 2)add lights in the beginning, 3)either make the visibility sliiightly higher or the switches sliiightly more noticeable. Just a little bit.

A note in conclusion: I apologise profusely for my utmost terrible manipulation of the English vernacular.

Please start the game with lights on. And maybe make the darkness less... dark. It might be a me problem, but the game's just way too dark - especially at the beginning. I literally couldn't tell when the game started because the screen was just pitch-black.

Frankly, I just didn't get this game's shtick. I liked the visuals and all, but the core gameplay loop was really confusing. How am I supposed to orientate if the room is changing and I can't see any objects even when they're right in front of me?
