Yes, the battlers are custom made (Fayhe, Seyfer, Lumia, Makas, several monsters and so on).
What exactly do you want to refer to? If you want to copy one of the characters then I'm afraid that's not possible.

Yes, I played Weird and Unfortunate Things Are Happening myself, and even worked on the game (implemented the Menu) so thought it'd be fun to leave a reference.  

Yeah that I know of, it's just that VX Ace has a frame limit. 

Nice animations. Would these work in VX Ace too? Or MZ only?

Just how many of these are suitable for VX Ace?
