i love stuff that’s cute on the surface and utterly messed up underneath! especially fairy tales and alice in wonderland-esque stories and whatnot. i’m excited to see the other “bears” too, all their names are adorable as i’m sure they will be too :)

i like the contrast of how he loses his eye sparkle when he starts asking the weird questions but he's still smiling so cheerfully like before. the lore is deeply interesting too. are the questions from his script what happened to him and his group of friends? were they forced to become these happy little bear creatures and offer the protagonist activities? if jin isn’t jamble then what happened to the original jamble? did the original get replaced? why? despite the mostly monochromatic world, there are five distinct colors. do they correspond with each of the five wonders? i think jamble is red, bumble is green, toodle is yellow, pippin is blue, and marron is purple (?). i also noticed that jin is holding a panda bear cookie and on the cookie stand there are four bears on the top tier corresponding to the other four wonders, but who is below them? are they a secret sixth wonder? and they have x's as their eyes... did they die?? ahhh i have so many questions!! but no matter what i *need* to save jin!! thank you for this amazing awesome cute game <3 it's impressive how much you packed into less than 1k words, and it made my night theorizing everything :)uh oh is this some sort of truman show type deal? everything feels too perfect and fake, not to mention the obvious sitcom sfx and the ever sunny weather. i'm not sure if it's on purpose but the letters all have the same font despite being written by different people... those are definitely manufactured or something. it feels like we're stuck in a rom-com and forcibly placed in this setting with an incomplete character sheet. are we the fake ones or is eddie just extremely committed to his role? he might even truly love us. or i could be completely wrong and be hit with the biggest plot twist. anywho i'm a sucker for pink haired dark eyed characters and i love the aesthetic of this game! feels very nostalgic in some weird way. also the overlay of a tv screen as if we're watching this married couple on some sick show really ties everything together. overall i'm enjoying this game and hope to see more! <3
this game is really promising, especially with the premise. i’m excited to see if you take it into the body horror aspect! the shadow with the neck snapping and the sound effects were sooo unsettling. i love how the music complements the scene and enhances the tension. it’s so soothing when something is obviously wrong and when it suddenly stops, it makes your stomach fall through the floor. the composition of the backgrounds are so clean and the cgs of the three love interests are beautiful. i especially enjoy the soft lighting; it makes everything feel surreal. i also like the sense of mystery you have without overexplaining. easily one of the most intriguing openings i’ve seen in a while.
aside from some structural issues in the narration, the rest of the pacing holds up beautifully. each scene and dialogue has its place and adds more to the story. i didn’t feel bored at any point and kept watching for subtext. wondering why Doctor Edwin is gaslighting us into believing the shadow creature was a hallucination. if the shadow’s neck snapping was supposed to be indicative of how they died. if the shadow was even Icarus, given where it showed up. i also really appreciate that this isn’t a “one day and done” kind of demo. you actually show us at least a week of progression. it lets us get comfortable and makes us more attached to the routine before things (presumably) fall apart.
all that said, the foundation is incredibly strong, and the atmosphere alone has me fully invested. i’m genuinely interested to see how you refine the writing, because the bones of something great are absolutely here. i already like what you’re doing with Doctor Edwin, as he clearly knows more than he’s letting on. Mathis is a solid, supportive friend. and Icarus, obsessed with us for reasons still unclear, has me uneasy in the best way. i’m also curious to see if the police cases from the beginning tie back in. really excited to see how all of this connects!

let me just say, i love the color palette of this game,,, it's so pretty!! and the music perfectly enhances every scene! i've always been a sucker for dark fairy tales and this definitely scratched that itch <33 looking forward to more!!!
so like.... are we not gonna mention the halo above his head? he must be an angel sent from heaven <3 (or is it relevant to the plot later?) i prefer yandere stories where you already have an established relationship over a head-over-heels first encounter, so this was a lovely experience! looking forward to more dates hangouts with Turquoise!! also, the player is such a snooper lmao reading his diary is unforgivable >:(
