Thanks so much! That’s a great feedback - I’ll add a date to the text after the jam! Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much! (I sighed at Jake so much while writing his storyline haha)

Thank you so much! I feel this is something that most if not everyone struggles with at some point. We all want to be there for those we care about but its not always easy to follow through each time.. Thanks so much for playing - I really appreciate it :)

hehe🌝

Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear all those little details landed.
I'm sorry it made you sad... but also maybe not too sorry :P

Great game! Love the art and sound effects. I spent way too much time playing it before finally leaving this comment lol

Love the art! I played it on the first day, then again today. Very satisfying game! Got to round 7 with a ~10s combo :)

Ahh, thank you so much!! Reading this really made my day. 😊 Jake isn't really a bad guy - just someone who keeps telling himself there's always tomorrow/soon. I think a lot of us have been there. And thanks for noticing the sleeping foreshadowing too! really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave such a thoughtful comment. It means a lot!

(1 edit)

Thanks so much! The second selection (date) + meeting the parents (will be there) leads to the dream ('good') ending. The other choices lead to another ending, with a slightly different ending based on the last choice ('go tomorrow' vs. not).

Yes!! Finished all the levels. :) Very satisfying puzzle game.

Great game! I played it for so long. So many creative potion names! I love the mind-reading one the most haha. The art and music combo is a win!

I like your art and sound effects. I enjoyed it a lot once I got into the flow. Wish there were more levels! :)

Very unique and artsy interactive fiction. The final image collection is insane. A lot of the content is very well written. The artsy style and images remind me of one of my favorite artists Joji lol

Beautiful cover. Love the art! It keeps making me want to click in and play more :)

Great game! This Game Boy design brings back great memories. And yeah, it's insane that you designed this in just 72 hours. Great job! Level 6 is sooo hard, so I'm heading right back to keep trying!!

Aww thank you so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I'm gonna add that css change after the jam :)

I would say 2 in total - Mia & Daniel's is one (with 2 slightly different wordings at the end), and the Dream one is another. Thanks for playing it multiple times!!

I guess, yeah, the Dream one is more optimistic, but it's sadly just a dream. The other one, with the "choose to come" option, became sadder with the dance happening behind him as he left, and life still goes on.

Thank you so much! So sweet!

They're all sad endings, but did you happen to get the 'dream' ending? It's probably the saddest one, but it's also my favorite hehe :)

Love it! Very creative. Seeing the spell animations and hearing the sound effects is very satisfying!

Very cool design. I like your art, music, and all the animations you included. I never beat the enemy, but I made it to 58 attack rounds? (the silver chain), and I enjoyed watching them fight!

10/10 love your arts, writhing, and overall design so much!

Thank you! 😊

Aww, thanks so much for the thoughtful comments! The backspacing one is my favorite feature hehe

Love it! Finished all the levels!!

Love the art and overall design! Made to level 3 🤣

thank you! 😊

Haha, fitting comment. I'll be waiting... soon, i promise. 😉

Thank you! 🤗

Very cute! The last level is a little tricky, but I completed it! 😸

love it!!

Haha thanks!

Thank you! 😊

Very cute design! Would it be possible to add a fullscreen mode?

Interesting design. It reminded me of Minesweeper a little!

Thank you for playing! Maybe she has moved on... or maybe not :)

cute game!

Thank you! I love visual novels. My art skills are pretty limited, so I built this one using html, css and js!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm really happy that the endings felt like they told a cohesive story. That contrast between being present and always putting things off was the main theme I wanted to explore, so it means a lot that it came across the way I intended! 😊

Love it! As a person who can only do pixel art, I love your visuals and how smooth each animation is. I love your content too. I was wondering what happened to his nose, then had an "ah" moment when I realized why it happened. It's a very true and sad reality. Thank you for creating this!
