Thank you! Happy to hear the music and overall vibe worked well for you. And yeah, a few people got a bit lost exploring, part of the adventure, I guess haha. Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot for playing! We’re really happy you enjoyed the overall experience and some of the weirder mechanics. Exploration and discovery were a big focus for us, so it’s great to hear that came through.
We know there are areas that could be smoother, especially around movement and getting your bearings, but given the jam’s time limits we had to make some tough calls. Still, we’re glad it was fun to play overall.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
Wow, this game made me feel like I was seeing the business side behind the Track&Field events from the NES, haha. I’m genuinely surprised by the amount of detail for a jam game, the complex flows and extraordinary art are impressive. From a technical perspective, it’s honestly incredible. Congratulations!
Beyond the technical side, the game is really fun to play, and the mechanics are very enjoyable. Nothing but praise for this great entry, outstanding work!!
Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what I just played, but it felt intriguing in a good way, the strange place itself really worked xD. I’m not personally a fan of the hand drawn paper art style, but I can see a lot of potential in it. I would have loved to see another scene to expand the concept a bit more. Overall, it was a good experience to play, nice work!
Man… the “half brain” part felt almost personal, like a challenge, haha. The car mechanci is clean and really satisfying. I loved the effect when the car reaches high speed. I would’ve loved a bit of drifting, that would’ve been awesome.
Great effects, nice references, and a fun game overall. Great job!
I find this game very interesting. I’d say it’s a fairly unique idea. I really liked the art and sound effects, and at the beginning I might have enjoyed a bit of parallax to add a stronger sense of depth to the scene.
You start without really knowing what’s going on, and as you progress, your curiosity grows about what’s out there and how the things will unfold. Overall, it was a great experience for sure! Good job!
Wow, just wow, guys. What an amazing atmosphere and mood. I’ve never felt so much suspense (and even fear!) while looking for a cat, haha. The scenes are incredibly detailed, and it’s clear a lot of care went into the gameplay. The mechanic of tracking the cat through its footprints is really interesting, and I burst out laughing at the dialogues and the voice acting. I bet you had a lot of fun making this too XD
From my perspective, it was a fantastic experience, and congratulations on managing to organize a team of seven people in just one week! Great job, everyone!
I really enjoyed this game! Puzzles that aren’t so easy that you solve them instantly, but also don’t take two hours to figure out, are always welcome. Having interaction through dialogue and receiving “instructions” makes the experience more immersive, which is always a positive. The way the dialogue is presented is also very well done, and the artwork for the different expressions is great!
Great game, well done!
I completely fell in love with the small introductory cinematic, I really love when games take the time to tell a story! The game is fun, with a simple but effective mechanic, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the level design. It’s not just about mindlessly pressing the jump button, you actually have to stop and think about what you’re doing.
From my perspective, some additional visual feedback for deactivated platforms could slightly improve the experience, but that’s a very minor detail.
Good game and great work!
Sure! Here’s the game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4300657 c:
