Ran for an embarrassing amount of time without a gun because I didn't realize you gotta pick it up at the beginning lol.

Love the vibes, aiming is crunchy, and I deeply respect the PS1 survival horror cinematic stuff going on.  Voice acting is on point too.

When monster tho?  Was hoping to fight one in the demo.  Following for sure, please hurry I want it all.

Cute, fun and challenging.  Love the light mechanic.  Could maybe do with a couple extra enemy types and a bit of work on the audio transitions, but definitely worth the play.  Thanks for the game!

Great demo, love the style, seems like it's setting up a pretty unique premise too.  Legit voice acting or better editing with the A.I. tracks would improve it a lot, but even so it was a fun play.  Definitely following for the full release or an updated demo.

Had a lot of fun with this!  Visual novels aren't really in my wheelhouse to begin with, so it was fun to branch out and give it a shot.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS:

Would like to see some of the early story points expanded on - namely the brief mention of heirs disappearing.  Also thought the housekeeper might have had a role beyond the opening sequence, but that's really more of a sidenote and not detrimental to the story at all.

Overall, I feel like the story was executed well.  It did seem to drag a bit in places, but that might just come down to a matter of personal preference.  It was an engaging narrative and provided plenty of details early on to get the player invested in uncovering the mystery.

Thanks for the experience!

Just echoing the reviews that are super positive about this game.  Loved it!  It's an incredible idea that's executed very well - stylish, grim, fun.  Multiplayer, if possible, would make this red hot.  I'd buy it for everyone I know and force them to play it, haha!

Had one small issue with mouse capture.  Sometimes on launch, the game just doesn't capture the mouse and I have to alt-tab in and out anytime there's a state change in the game (which makes it unplayable).  Only really happens about half the time for me and could be specific to me, but might be worth checking to see if anyone else reports it.

Anyway great job, following and looking forward to whatever comes next!

Puppet Combo vibes, which is always welcome.  Love the VHS aesthetic, appreciate the mini-game of body checking the thieves, enjoy the fact that there's multiple endings and dialogue tree.

Not sure how I'd address this, but you can just sort of chill at the front door and basically auto-nab the thieves.  Also, it'd improve replayability if the thieves were randomized (i.e. more characters and a 50/50 chance for them to try to steal or not).

Anyway, fun game, thanks for the experience!

Super fun - loved the minecraft bonkified tree harvesting.  Sounds were nice, thankful for the sprint/stamina mechanic, legitimately tense maze sequence that captured the feeling of being surrounded while struggling to find a way out.  Love the mushy gross faces of the characters too, haha.

Oh and also you actually escape!  Nice to see a happy ending once in a while, even if our face is extremely unfortunate.

Fun little game!  Love the style, no real bugs that I found, legit creepy in a couple spots, relies on standard scares but executes them in a way that isn't obnoxious.  Would love to see you explore building atmosphere and incorporating more environmental suspense-building.  Anyway, thanks for the experience!
