I tested and can confirm that this is an issue with there being no visible background outside of the application surface, and not GMLive. Thanks again for your help!

Hello! I noticed an odd behavior when using display_set_gui_maximise() in the drawGUI event and updating the position of a drawn element with GMLive, in my case draw_text_ext_transformed() or draw_text() . The position is updated, but the initial draw remains with each update making a stamp like effect.  Updating the position in the draw event works as expected, and when display_set_gui_maximise() is not called, the repeating effect doesn't occur so long as the draw position remains within the view width and height. I included a video to demo the issue I'd been running into.
