Thanks for that, I'll give that a try.  I  wasn't expecting a response on New Year's Day,  so much appreciated.

Thanks for getting back quickly.  Pixelcut looks brilliant. What I'm trying to do is 1)  Carve out text (pocket cut ) so it removes the material from the inside of the letters. and for another separate example is add text to the canvas but have the opposite i    i.e    pocket cut around the text so that the letters  are solid and outside t the letters is the pocket cut . Does that make sense?. I only seem to be be getting a carved outsline of my text. If I can get this, then I should be able to master the other things.    I'm so looking forward to getting this sussed out. Thanks Dave

Hi Charlie,  I just took delivery of a CNC router, and after playing withe easel for a day  I found your Pixelcnc which seems extacly what I'm needing.

Howver, and this is a BIG however,  I find the exitsing FEW  tutorials very complex. They need to be simple single topic tutorial like how  how to carve a name, how to carve a shape.  The ones on your youtube chanel and interactive tutorials are way to complex, and don't explain the rlationship between text layer, fill, paths etc. for a beginner like me.

I am  computer literate, a photographer and  engineer so undertand Photoshop,  Capture one, Affinity publisher , programming inPython , C++ etc,  BUT I  find pixleCNC complex as there  is not enough simple tutorials  with explantaions.   Im sure Im not the only one who   wants  more simple tuturials.

I hope you can rectify this as Pixel CNC seesm do do a lot,.  As a . oftware developer and marketing manager, sales VP  in previous  careers , Ive seen many product and service succeed and fail.    The  success of any product depends on the support (not just tech support, but guides tutoriasl etc) from the  developer company.

Cheers, Dave
