okay, this was really hard at the beginning and I'd say the first room doesn't really help you get the hang of the mechanics, but once you figure them out... it's REALLY fun. It reminds me a lot of “I Am Bread” and similar games. The camera isn't always perfect. Sometimes it gets in the way or gets stuck, but in a game like this, with so many angles and such free caothic movement, it's really hard to make a better camera.

I find the game very fun and challenging. I like the checkpoint design. The only downside I see is that the first room doesn’t do justice to how good the game gets later on, and it might cause someone to miss out on it if they don’t have the patience to get past it and fully understand the movement.

Thanks thanks!!
That damn swamp ended up harder than I would've liked! hahaha
I mean... no "hahaha"... this is very serious, sure... 👨‍💼🤝👨‍💼

Wow, what a compliment! Hahaha

I'm so glad you liked it that much, it really motivates to keep going. <3 <3 <3

Obviously, I've had to play your' game... and you're absolutely right! They seam to have the same spirit, hahaha. I'll be sure to leave some feedback when I get a chance to play it more!

You are so right, the donut's control realy could be better, specially on slopes or turns. Thank you so so much for taking the time to tes it out and leave your feedback!!

This just takes me back to iron lung. Difficulty is by far the only problem I see with it. Visuals are nice, mechanic simple but works, sounds are perfect

Fun place to find the games!

I'll let mine here just in case, but it cant be played on browser :(    https://barkinghound.itch.io/spin-to-hill

Still, just played The house always wins and it really is adictive

Okay, first time i really struggled to understand the basics or mechanics. Once finished and played again it was far more enjoyable!
Found a pair of visual bugs but nothing game-breaking.

Would love to now more about the story for sure. Main menu visuals are really cool and also great music!

Thanks, thanks, thanks!

The cinematics were a real headache, hahaha. I'm glad you liked.

About the scrolling... you're absolutely right. I wanted it to ba bit different a challenging, but it's a movement we're not used to, and it also depends on the type of mouse and the grip... I hope it didn't cause you any discomfort

Ty so much for testing it and sharing your feedback!!!

Hahaha, ty so much. The difficulty was something I was  worried about, because I wanted it to be challenging without being frustrating. I hope I didn't make you suffer too much in the swamp...
Thank you so much for giving it a try and leaving a comment!

Im so in love with the visuals! It took me a while to notice you have to spin clockwise bc i was doing it the other way! still really nice

Sounds are just fire and juicy! Love the detail on the UI like the info when hover, the tip's movement... The overall polishing is sooo great.  The gameplay is the simplest part of here. I would have liked to be able to make more strategic decisions or choose between spins, bc now when you start a new round there's no much more to do. I guess that's the point of the gambling part.

Still loved it and spent more time on it than I'd like to admit XD

Pretty enjoyable. I like the VERY SERIOUS the character and music. As someone already mentioned, it would be cool to add the option to rotate using a key. It’s a simple and fun foundation, I’m sure it could be expanded with new mechanics like gravity-affected obstacles, portals...

Nice job overall!

(1 edit)

Hey there everyone! I kinda had to rush the end of this jam for personal reasons, so i wasn't able to polish as much as i want, but im glad i managed to finish on time. Congrats to all of the participants too!

I hope you have a nice ant-journey, and im willing to try all of you games!

Please, all the feedback is welcome! ♥
(Sorry for the misspellings, english is not my native language)

Im glad im not alone in that "living beings" hahaha. When testing it i allways forgot to select people

Really hope you enjoyed!

hahahah making it Canon and dont fix it seems like the captcha's  last revange.

Thanks so much for your kind words, i really hope you enjoyed it!!

(Im gonna try and fix the crash, btw)

This is so clever idea and nice packaged. Once i got a timer added my brain turned into juice.

The short times,  clever script, the one single answer moments...

This felt like having some kind of realtime interaction

Thanks for your words! Im so happy you liked it

You are so right about the crash, didnt realise web version is sometimes doing this :(

I really need to try and make a patch today

This is such a great metaphor! with such a great explanation too

And the cats are just so adorable

This is fire! Totally wanna know more about how it works

All that data about every planet find it really cool

(Found a planet with 17 moons, today is a good day)

Hey there!! Thanks everyone for your participation.

Just to be able to finish and deliver a game is already a great experience, congratulations to all of you.

Any kind of feedback will be very welcome

GOTY

Very clean and nice polish!

Love those sounds, i can still hear that "squish"

great job!

Give me more bullets and leave me alone with those bastards!!

Super cool concept and amazing visuals. I love the aesthetics and design of the enemies (except for the brown jumping thing, what a pleasure to kill that stuff).

If this was an arcade I'd drop all my money on it.

Very good job!! 👍

Good concept and outstanding graphics. Also the SFX are very good.

Unfortunately everything happens too fast at least for me (Skill issue i guess) and even if I manage to identify the dangers, dodging them is more a matter of luck than skill.

Pretty good overall, I'm sure even better if it's played by someone who isn't a klutz like me.

Good job 👍

Juicy Juicy Juicy juicy!

Nice polish. Good graphic style. Good generation. Cool player movment. Good SFX...

I would have liked a little more storytelling.

Sometimes enemies get stuck in random corners or isolated islands and you have to go find them at the end of the round (at least the map helps with this).

Some feedback to warn where enemies will appear would help. I at least died a couple of times from enemies spawning right in my face.

The game overall is very good!  Great job 👍

This is going to be a short review because I have to go back to continue playing.

Cool concept, cool adaptation, lovely SFX.

I still don't quite get the acid sprayer.

Great job 👍

The concept is good.

I think it might be somewhat easier to understand if instead of “buying” the pieces separately you simply picked them out and then bought the whole monster.

Details like the movement of the monsters when you are not fighting or the SFX are appreciated!

Nice Job 👍

Super cool concept! It took me a while to understand all the mechanics but I think it's a very interesting combination. The art is great

Good job!!

The game is adapted to be played without listening! A red emitter will appear to indicate that there is a Chimer making noise!

Thanks for testing my game and leaving your feedback!

Thnx everyone vor trying the game!!!

This is my first time on a gamejam and all of you made me wanna keep this going. Really hope to see you on more jams ;)

PS: 4th place?! this is surreal.

I had to play a couple of times to understand what i need to do, but that said the concept is pretty nice. Loved the boss

In my opinion the nice physics movement makes this game much interesting. Like the mechanics and that you took the opportunity to share a message. Art is cool. Nice experience

Super cool! love the concept and the jokes are just on point. Kind of miss some feedback when you win a day (i reached day 3 without noticing bc i thoufgt i was losing and the game was restarting itself)

super creative idea! the movement feels soooo juciy

nice game. I think the feedback could be somehow better and maybe as someone said associate somehow the 3 different "enemies" with the corresponding arrow somehow. That said cool game. And congrats on releasing!! First time jame here too!!

Really cool concept and art. I love the detail of the peopple running when you miss. Would love some kind of "progression" feeling such as having less time every time you win. A great game overall !!

Thanks! I'm more of a programmer than an artist so I suffer a bit trying to make things look nice hehe. I'm glad you liked it.

no, YOU cool! 😎

Really cool concept! i would love some more feedback of the cities being attacked, but the overall idea is interesting 👍
