I also had problems with this when i tested the game myself i find just wiggling it around a bit helps, just wiggle it until it starts to go up, then hold it there

But for your next "application", please state what you do, how long youve been doing it, secondary things you can do, your level of programing and implementation for assets, your programing language, and your programing software. (i wish i knew this when i was sending my "application") Also, dont expect a few minute response outside of dms.

(IMPORTANT, i might be misinterpreting the theme of his game as roguelike)

Main game loop comments: 

0. i think you could go further in on the invincible theme,  but it might be too late for that now. 

1. faster coin gain  in the start, to be able to buy at least 1 upgrade every 2-4 rounds, even at 3x speed it seems slow. 

2. More adrenaline; if you look at other roguelike-esc games, (clover pit for example) you get a huge adrenaline rush when you get a jackpot. 

2.5 More color pop, and a more complicated crit system, so makes it sort of random, like one time you do 2 damage, and another time (the same throw potentially) you do like 40, and if you do a high enough damage, you get explosion particles, and a large boom potentially (you can customize it how you will) i would use ultrakill or unorthodox accounting (on roblox) or clover pit for inspo.  

3.  it would be nice to see what items you have, more than just an icon (name and description)

nitpicks (dont rly need to fix) 1. when Zippo waves, his hand is rotated from the middle of his arm.  2. in non-fullscreen, the buttons hitboxes are offset down a little

I don't meet your requirements, but however, you havent gotten any replys in 6 days, so i figured you might still need help. but i am an artist, however my ipad broke, and i have some experience in writing. If you know yet, what will the game theme/topic be? (i havent been in a game jam before, nor do i really have too much unity implication skills, however i know a few simple things i think (its been like 3-4 years since i used unity)) i would like to see some of your sketches/drawings to see if i can replicate or make similar sprites. can you give some information regarding if its 2d/3d, controls, and console.

on the second level, if you have the magnet powerup and go all the way to the right edge on the map, and go full power, up, and a little to the right, you will be magnetised(?) towards the flag from the ground, which makes you wait for a long time before you hit the floor again (might be a feature idk)
