Painfully accurate and mercifully kind at the same time. From someone who's been through this exact situation and feelings as well, thank you and I wish you keep at it, one step at a time.

This feels like reading pages off a diary I don't recall ever writing, and this is not an exaggeration. Hats off to you.

Thanks, I appreciate these questions you pose, it makes me feel like this succeeded in some key ways.

Thank you for the kind words, I hope it did not cross into being unbearable!

I enjoyed walking in your shoes for a bit and I appreciate you not sugarcoating stuff. This is what small personal games should be like. Keep on keeping on!

Some typos/ minor mistakes in writing. The story could be getting to an interesting place, but it is unfortunately not complete, with 2 of the 3 ending choices ending with no text, and 1 ending abruptly. I'd be interested to see how the story unfolds.

A tight group of kids that stays united during hardship is a highlight here combined with the evocative writing. I like how their different backgrounds and attitudes were conveyed & I also enjoyed the dice rolling mechanic, which feels rigged against the player. So is the 'game of life' rigged against our heroes of nothing.

Some great metaphors in this one. I liked the art and audio as well, and how new layers were added each time. I might also want just a bit more of a hint about the overall story or potential story branches, but color me intrigued. Great job.

An experiment in many ways, a mixing of styles, of times. Embracing a burden, and letting go of it. A distinctive experience.

I like how you themed each opponent with their own decks, each making sense for them and their background. Some great sound effects too!

Thank you kindly!

Thank you for the kind words!

Connected more to my workers as cards that with most of my real life co-workers, 10/10.
What a funny & charming game!

In the words of my favorite character: Guns don't kill people, but this game slays! It's full of character and life, well done.

This is exceptional work on all fronts, bravo! If I had to pick one thing, it is the sense of humor. And the character art. And the card art. And the sound effects. And everything else.

Loved this! Great idea of utilising the card game template for a non-combat element.

The writing is the strongest part here, with both descriptions and dialogue confidently transporting you to the game's universe.

Would love to play an expanded version!

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank youu!

Amazing little game! The graphics and the vibe are excellent! Everything is full of character, would easily play the little guy's next adventure <3

Great little game, like the massive crowd of  orcs and guards!

Thank you for the comment, hoping to expand it a bit soon!

Great little game, I can feel the character's frustration for some type of reward!

Amazing game, love the humor & surprises!

Is the kitty the real treasure all this time :') ?
