I do have VisuMZ_1_EventsMoveCore but I disabled it when testing as I thought the same thing.
Just tried again and it's now working...... I hate technology, I'll keep you posted if it comes back.

Hey sleeping robot games,
Downloaded today and really excited to use with RPG Maker MZ, I tried with both Galv and Cloud The wolf and found I preferred Clouds.
However, I seem to have an issue where when I'm walking left or right i walk two tiles rather than 1.
Is this due to using a 4 column walk, rather than 3?
Hey waldorf,
Thank you so much for playing my game, very much enjoyed watching your stream of playing it.
I will definitely look at subtitling, any recommendations on how to make it so it syncs nicely with the SE? As I ran out of time before I could figure it out. 😂😁
I will definitely check out the map restart feature and the leaderboard for cheating.
Kindest regards
Dan
Hi Benny,
Thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to play it and that the puzzles gripped you enough that you had to comeback in your own time to finish it.
I have absolutely no clue what was happening with audio, joys of SE actions. I will continue to polish this game as I'm hoping to use it as portfolio work to apply for a job position in the gaming industry.
I will make sure the map traversal bug is fixed as well.
Kindest regards
Dan
Only way I could see how to solve the voice issue was to buy Visustella's voice plugin, which sadly didn't have the aforementioned funds to do at the time. I've just released a new version which modifies the volume slightly... not sure if it fixes the problem completely, but sadly is what it is.
I agree a level select could be a fun addition for the future.
I'm very glad you had fun though.
The art and UI were fantastic, I loved the humour... the face plant image in the hurdles mini game... made me chuckle :)
Very sorry to hear about your SSD exploding, not what you want in a game jam.
This is a gorgeous game, with as you say a couple of niggly bits that need fine tuning given enough time, but nothing I would consider game breaking.
Fantastic job, I love it and I'm very envious of your artistic talents.
Love the art, I would have absolutely love this Tileset creating some of my dungeons. Loved the character creation and choice for text box and font. Clearly a lot of love and attention went into that.
I also really liked how quick it was to get into the action, a lot of games I've played so far had to get through a lot of text before I was allowed to roam. Which again I really liked.
Sadly, I'm one of the few people that I know of in this world who really cannot get on with dice rolls in my video game RPGs, yet a fan of DnD. I know huge walking contradiction but is what it is.
The music and artwork were fantastic really suited the simplicity of what you were going for, and made it as people have said very calming.
Didn't really feel any impact from raising the price to max the entire time, other then people making the same second mortgage joke :)
You definitely have the making of something that could really fit into the casual gaming market. I don't know if there's area for expanding into building a conglomerate, delivery service etc. and having it so a player can become a billionaire and skipping school entirely.
Definitely also want to make sure you're okay, the text messages with the mum were pretty deep cutting.
not quite sure why, but it kept on stopping me every couple steps telling me that I was virtuous. Which is always nice to hear. The static audio was a bit much for me so I had to turn it down. The artwork however was awesome, great work, it did get progressively weird as the game went on which I love.
I also liked the idea of rather than just attacking you had to decide to either curse or bless them.
It's an interesting art style and must have taken a lot of work, bit of a strain on my poor old eyes though :)
Loved the premise, would have been great to have a guide book or something just to explain all the interesting mechanics you had going on. Loved the find the match to light the stove, then get the pan and food. Very cool.
