Figured it out. the first “gift” (Vira asking to decorate my desktop) is a wallpaper. Seems kinda obvious in hindsight but oh well…
The problem with that on my system is that I use Lively Wallpaper and it overrode her wallpaper if I had to guess.
Maybe should look into that, if you can. (Or maybe leave a note somewhere about that happening.)
How did you make the “create files and folders on your desktop” feature?
Mostly asking because I’m “stuck” (not really) on the first time Vira is supposed to create something on my desktop (the words she uses is “Can I decorate your desktop?”), I gave her permission and she asks me what I think… But nothing was actually created on my desktop.
No antivirus logs show that anything was blocked, so I figured I’d ask here if anyone else got a similar problem or if I’m maybe blind.
Oh no, I wasn’t trying to suggest that you used AI, it was more of a comment on FREECARDWARE.
And yes, in the battle scenes is where I noticed most of the inspiration. Also maybe a little bit in the selection of the next stage.
But it’s all meant to be a plus in my eyes, definitely not any kind of a negative.
I definitely look forward to seeing this game progress. The art you created looks great and I’m definitely going to support the game more as time goes on.
Could this game have been inspired by a game called ‘Free Cardware’ by ‘LewdTheMoon’?
I really enjoyed the way that game played (despite the AI art in that game) and I’m seeing a lot of it in this game, so in any case, good on you. The game plays great in my opinion and I hope you’ll be able to finish it.
