Well that's happened to me a long time ago on different games but try re downloading it, restarting your device, or clear data and cache and if that don't work then honestly i got no idea

If you look at the dev logs then you can see that month or so it'll be free then 29.0 will be free after 28.0 has been out for a month or longer depending on how long dev takes to make a new version

Well only 2 ways save before the end or press the back button when you see "the end" and i know this was a month ago and you most likely already played the 2 endings
