I have added a save menu feature, for existing saves please remember to save right when you log on for the first time otherwise your save may be corrupted!
There is a warning for low cash, and low relationship its just in the bottom right corner. I can move it to be more obvious but it is one of the few "fail" scenarios so a flashing warning would defeat the purpose, I can have her come and talk to you a few times before it gets TOO bad.
If you look at career it should show you how to advance, If you are still stuck that might be because you let your relationships drop too low and now can't collab with anyone. I am currently working on an update to allow easier ways to maintain relationships.
