i appreciate you telling us all, instead of us being left to wonder. even though i paid for this i dont mind that you are cancelling the game. like you said, it didnt catch on as much as MIST did, this is a hard truth to face. It is what it is my dude. i hope that My Girl Loves Handcuffs captures your attention and creative drive like MIST did, and i know i come off like a yes man, but i really want you to succeed. MIST won me over so much, i know what you're capable of, and you can achieve it again! my only ask is to keep up the communication, keep being honest, it does a lot in terms of good will <3

ive got your back bro! MIST won me over forever <3 i believe in CoM, and in your ability to deliver. if this makes it easier and less stressful for you to develop the game, then its a good decision i think. even though i bought the game i dont feel ripped off, as you said, nothing is lost and eventually the game will go back to paid model. Thanks for the communication! its nice and reassuring to hear from the developers of these early access/patreon games, its scary when they stop talking as we're left wondering whether or not the project has been abandoned, and ive seen that way to many times.

my old boss used to say that "a shortcut was the longest way around" and for the most part he was right. there were many times when id try take a shortcut to get the job done quicker but mess up along the way and blow out a job. im glad that you are feeling more relaxed, and IMO, if your worried about taking a long time to push a release or people are seeming restless, release some teaser images :P or some renders that arent in game to make the characters in the game, seem a bit more real :)

i started your games with MIST and it sorta set the base line for what to expect coming from you, and i dont really doubt that Children of Morn wont be as good, if not better then MIST. Personally, i would take every review on f95 with a grain of salt, none of those people are invested with their own money as that place is all about getting things for free lol

i know the experience in the last year has probably been harrowing for you, but its just a refining flame, making you a better developer!
