You aren't betting at all :). Red multiplies the score that you get from landing on black, so landing on red 3 adds 3 to the multiplier, and black 21 adds 21 to the score of 1, giving you 4x22 for that spin's score. Upgrades replace the color of the numbers they cover with the color of the upgrade, and trigger an effect when a ball lands on the spaces covered by the upgrade.
I'm confused on whether ACC is added to rolls to hit, or to damage, or both? For example, in the "Combat" section under "How to Play (Cont. 3)" it says that perks and modifiers from your traits can increase your accuracy, but it doesn't explicitly say you add your ACC to attack rolls, and elsewhere, the Raider Skill: Flaming Rage under "Occupations (Cont. 7)" says that you have a -3 to hit while in rage rather than -3 ACC, and the Martial Artist Perk under "Perks (CQC 2)" doesn't say it increases ACC with that body part, but says it adds +3 to the to hit roll with that body part.
My main complaint is that I can't tell what triggers being able to fit more than just 3 people in a party, and that it's hard to see if there's duplicate classes of party members. I was never able to get a party with a mender, savant, warden, captain, wildling, and knight all in it at the same time, even though there seems to be 2 spaces per row of the party.
