We'll yeah... Bad of me to blame it on the game but that's a crazy coincidence don't you think? I'm getting my PC checked over the weekend. Sad cause I used this to mix music! But it's fine. I'll wait.

I just purchased and installed The Choicer Voicer. Shortly after launching the game, my PC audio completely stopped working. My Edifier speakers are connected through AUX and work normally, but Windows stopped detecting my onboard Realtek audio output.

Device Manager now shows the audio device as a generic “High Definition Audio Device” with Code 45: This hardware device is not connected to the computer.

I also experienced an unexpected PC restart while the game was running/around the time I started using it.

I've restarted the PC, checked Windows sound settings, checked Device Manager, and gone through the usual troubleshooting, but the onboard audio still isn't functioning.

Has anyone else experienced audio-driver issues or unexpected restarts after launching The Choicer Voicer? I'm trying to determine whether this is a known issue with the game or just an unfortunate coincidence?
