It warms my heart so much that someone sat down and played my game for a full hour

Oh nothing to apologize for I think your game is cool regardless

Yeah it definitely could have used another time limit balancing pass. Glad you liked it though!

Maybe a weird comment but this is the best itch page I have ever seen, the game just blending into the page is so slick. I really like that you recognized your strength in visuals and made a game to push that as far as possible, this game is genuinely very impressive. Only issue I noticed was the cursor not being shown if your mouse was too low on the screen

Also the theme interpretation is great, I think you really captured a retro bedroom environment

Believe it or not I toned that rolling game WAY down after feedback, originally you had almost no air control and it took way longer to reach top speed. I'm glad you liked the game!

Yeah full credit to our artist fonsy who drew such a great creature. Glad to hear someone got got!

The Music! The Art! The dedicated meow button! This is probably the cutest art in the jam I love this

The art, especially the intro, is genuinely stellar. I like the audio track as well, environments look nice. I think mostly it's just lacking a lot of polish, like how the walk cycle animation includes a frame of the idle sprite for some reason. Still really cool though

It's cute and I really liked the minimap's implementation. I'm not so sure about this song though, some of it was good but the crunchy percussion was really overpowering

It has great vibes but I ran into a lot of technical issues. I hope you keep working on it because I think it's cool!

I really like your art, the room in particular looks great but the customers and video covers are cute too. My only complaint is the UI is quite janky, it's not very clear in-game what is clickable and what that thing will do in addition to just a general messy feel to it

Edit: I forgot to mention the song is also a banger

This is a really smart idea, and a lot of what you do sells it very well. I like the sparks on the hammer when moving, I wish it had some more visual impact when the hammer lands though. It would also be nice to get more incentive to position yourself rather than just swinging the hammer twice. I think a streak mechanic of some kind would be good, go X number of hits in a row without missing to get some sort of bonus

Originally the falling game was supposed to have almost no air control and was way harder on the momentum. I ended up going with a more balanced approach, did you feel like in its current state that you still felt some of that momentum-based platforming?

I LOVE this look, these cute bird guys are so charming. I know this isn't how you intended but I actually had a really fun time seeing how far I could get without fighting just baiting attacks and running to the exit. All those years of running past enemies in souls games prepared me for this!

But really this is super impressive I think it rules

Really simple but effective, as a huge analog horror fan getting the classic text-to-speech voice was so good. Love the ambient background noise

This was cute! The music is charming if a bit unrefined, I couldn't tell 100% but it looked like the jump buttons appeared along the beat to the song. I certainly wasn't expecting 1991 GameBoy OSU!

We actually ended up with really similar game ideas, and I love that you can play the game while not zoomed into the TV really adds to the vibe.

I feel bad because I really don't like beat'emups at all but as someone who does pixel art the visuals are immediately quite impressive. Was it Aseprite? Do you do traditional drawings first or go straight for the pixels

I like the music and the pixel art is really cute, overall color palette is nice and I think there is plenty of contrast between the player and environment but these fruits are REALLY small and hard to see sometimes especially in such a small window in-browser

I absolutely adore games that look like this, it's so charming. At least in the browser it does seem to have some serious performance issues when looking around. It's smart that the music plays when the entity cannot move, and it is sufficiently spooky

It is definitely a prototype but I think it was cool, did you make those car models?

It's really cute and I like the graphics a lot, but the bumping of the arcade cabinet while trying to play one of the games was a bit much. It also would have been nice if the camera zoomed into the screen more

That is a lot of really detailed pixel art, your artist must have been in the kitchen all week. It's cute and fun with good music and vibes
