Damn. So in actuality, I got trolled so hard I didn't even realise I got trolled.

I look forward to the steam release for sure.

The one and only time that turning always dash to on would actually be a huge detriment. I had to look for the solution just to see my speedy movement was preventing me from breaking the game. So many good moments in both routes. "ok this teleports me to that one house with the gold dust guard? is that useful? OH. OH IT'S VERY USEFUL. FORGET THE NOTEPAD". That secret route felt like everything a secret route should be. It reminded me a bit of deltarune's quirky route, though with less reactions from other characters. Honestly I initially had the wrong idea and thought I was supposed to look in the game files and start deleting/editing things to give the character something but the hints put me back on the right path. Just a great experience overall, and some parts like the "fixed movement path" softlocks got me giggling.

I haven't played troll games in a while so playing this was certainly an experience. A lot of them were brilliant, especially the fario section. Some of them were... ehh, but overall there was a lot of love and care put into this and it showed. I'll do the little spoiler thing since idk if you can do spoiler text here to avoid spoiling.

I had a lot of weird but funny moments for sure. Pressing quit confusedly (because since when do these RPGMaker games have a quit button?) just to get put into the actual game on accident. Examining EVERY OBJECT except the clock (I went back on a fresh save out of curiosity if it was even there and it was, I just accidentally avoided it, but was a bit bummed out it didn't throw you into another antisoftlock for trying to skip the narrative). Trying to find a menu key or just general controls and finding the wasd thing (poor Nolan!).

Speaking of the antisoftlock, the fact that it upgraded was brilliant. I did them all, even though I feel it would've saved time to just quit and relaunch, but maybe you had a troll for that too? I'm tempted to check now. Finish becoming fish is a classic too, though the door felt like it kinda cheated me when I tried opening the door from the left to avoid the other door when they swapped. I guess logistically you could say I opened the <door in that spot> and when they swapped that changed, but at least I could avoid the antisoftlock. The uh... long drop got kinda annoying after a while though. I kinda wanted to check all the fish interactions (I ate the item even lol) but I just wanted to end the section after falling so many times. Could just be my lack of experience in the troll game genre.

The streamer thing did amuse me, though I was unfortunately not actually streaming, I just had OBS open, which did kinda detract from the "immersion" I guess you'd call it, not that I know of a way for you to actually affirm that. Mic troll was brilliant. Also, it definitely did kick me into gear though when the game said "nice job, here's a logout timer on your pc" as to what the hell I'm actually playing. Honestly that whole first segment was brilliant and I had a lot of loud laughs from every part of it. I have no idea if it would actually log you out but I assume it would stop before doing so.

The non-fario parts were... confusing? I did the strategy, board game, and puzzle game segments and idk, compared to the fario part it didn't feel very in-line with it if that makes sense. If that whole segment was just the fario part it'd have flowed nicer. I was also a little surprised that it didn't troll me for going over the required 10 atonement points.

I didn't like the final fight. It had good trolls "press the key next to f3, okay I will WAIT NO I'M HOLDING AL-" or the fake blue screen having me let go of alt, but it felt more annoying than a funny troll sequence, especially when it turned my monitors off (which, one of them stops registering as a monitor if turned off, so it jumbled all of my windows) or was moving the window and slowed the game down as a result. I understand it's cliche and kinda customary to have an "all out attack!" in the 4th wall break troll game where it starts opening browsers, hiding from you, jumping around the window, but it really just felt like "wait for the bs to subside and then continue", partially because of the timer making me not want to sit and appreciate the nyan cat. Which is maybe inadvertently the fault of the logout timer so long ago? It couldn't really surprise me anymore with the shenanigans since it already set the tone. I also kinda wonder if at some version you did actually have to restart the whole fight if you pressed alt+f4 because I was genuinely dreading having to do all of it again but there was benevolence. I think I would've just stopped playing if that happened, so thank goodness.

All in all, please keep making games. I'm binging all of these and the ideas/puzzles are brilliant. You really got a knack for this sort of thing and how to incorporate the humour into a typically serious or somber genre. Apologies for the long comment, this just really resonated with me.
