I will once again say it, but this game is a step above OIAL, and that was fuc*ing amazing! With every single update you're out-doing yourself, Caribdis. Also those animated scenes of all sort you put into the game are awesome. I am sincerely beyond impressed.

SPOILER ALERT

And I friggin' love Nova! Honestly I expected everything else except her turning Dione into a missile launcher and just gun those guys down, that was hilarious! :D But every single character is great, such a wide range of personalities and backstories, yet they complement so well with each other. The side characters also complement the picture awesomely, especially Mr. Hernandez and his family.

Overall, awesome job as always. This is the best game I've ever seen from this genre, beyond all doubt. You can be so proud of yourself.

I have to say this is an amazing work. Once again a great story and characters and this time also full of jokes that really made me smile. Poor Ashe though. :( Keep this up, so far it's very very good!

You have a big Discord logo in the description.

I feel like with each and every update, you improve on what is already a masterpiece. You can truly be proud of your work and I sincerely look forward to each and every update. :) And the most incredible thing is that a game as well made as this one is completely free. I believe nobody could say even a word if you decided to sell this game, because you completely deserve every penny. This is quite honestly the most incredible project on this site and I've seen a vast amount of games already, but this is on another level. It's worth every day of waiting and every second of playing. I think I am going to replay the game several times again before the next update is ready. Thank you for this masterpiece, Caribdis. :)

Hello, I am reaching to you again after playing the entire game. I am standing behind what I've said already, story and characters are all very well written and even the unusual face proportions is something you can get accustomed to quickly. But personally, and I don't mean anything against you, I see a lot of unfulfilled potential in this story which could've continued, mapping Steelgarde's and other characters' lives and fates more thoroughly, as well as the war. You have spent an awful lot of time introducing your own world and its geography, religion and detailed history to us only to kind of rush through the story that could've been developed into a great saga. It's kind of shame to see it end rather quickly. But again, this is nothing against you, all stories must come to an end and I have enjoyed your game. I thank you for that and I am looking forward to your next project. :)

Hello there. First things first, great game, quite different from almost anything findable on this site, and I like the story so far. Animated cutscenes also add a lot to this game, once again, it's something that puts you above many projects. Overall, great job. And since I work on a fantasy medieval novel for almost 4 years now this immediately caught my attention. :D Maybe you'll inspire me a bit too. Someone can call this an unusual source of inspiration, but hey, we are just human beings and the fact that this game is NSFW doesn't mean it can't have a great story and solid characters just like this one.

(If you're scratching your head now because of my source of inspiration, I can assure you, I don't write 50 Shades of Medieval. :D And if you scratch your head because of my English, I am not a native speaker. I learn English since I was a child, but I know I am not fluent.)

The only thing I'd like to mention, and it might be my personal opinion, is Aymee. It's nothing about her story or character, but in some renders, I have quite a disturbing feeling looking at her. Something about the proportions of her face seems quite off to me. I think notably the eyes, especially if you look at the scene you put here on Itch.io. Imo, her eyes are disturbingly big compared to the overall proportion of her face. On the other hand, in the trailer, she looks normal to me. Again, this might be just my personal opinion and I know this is impossible to change now, I am just trying to give a tip for future here.

I must say that you've even outdone yourself from v 0.1 with the introduction of these new characters. Insanely good work. And I absolutely love badass girls, so Nova is definitely a favourite of mine. :D

**Spoleirs ahead**

The animation when she opens fire with Dione on the Praetorian is absolutely amazing. Honestly, this game has outdone everything I've even seen. I can't believe you are making this game free, it's epic. But I definitely stand by my previous comment - I want to see Caribdis gaming studio sooner than later.

Looking forward to v 0.3! Have a great new year!

When you finished Once in a Lifetime, I said it was a masterpiece, but you've already topped that by a country mile, Caribdis. This is one incredible, epic game, even though it just barely started. Characters, soundtrack, story, and especially backgrounds - that's a true work of art. I saw quite a lot of games here on itch.io already, but nothing comes even close to your projects. You left me absolutely speechless once again and you can be proud of your masterpieces. Credit where it's due, with all honesty. You are one-in-a-million game developer. You absolutely must start your own gaming studio, because you might be able to create one of the greatest games the industry have ever seen. What you've done so far on your own is nothing like I've ever seen. It's mind-blowing.

Hello Caribdis. I wrote a post once before when 0.9 was finished and promised I will complete the playthrough. Even though my laptop died in the meantime and forced me to play the game again entirely from the scratch, I did that. And I must say that it was the best decision I could make. I will gladly repeat what I said before - this is a masterpiece. A VN of this genre brought something I never expected - hilarious moments with the best buddy Mike, scary moments, mystery, love, fear, all kinds of emotions you could wish for. I strongly suggest you becoming a full time developer, because that's clearly something you have an enormous gift for. I've never encountered a game like this, not to mention free to play. And I am looking forward to your new project as a baby waiting for Christmas, because I know you will bring another masterpiece. :) Not only this game brought me to tears at the end, it also brought back the inspiration I needed in my own field of story creating. I didn't expect something like that to happen. So sincerely, thank you. I hope you will one day establish your own development company, because it would be a great shame that talented man like you would be forgotten. I hope we will hear from you soon again. :) Take care and stay safe in these hard times.

I believe that, I have it the same. :) One day I would like to make something like that, but right now I lack skills necessary for that except building a story. :) I wish you the best of luck with finishing this story and your next project.

Okay, this is the first review I am writing on itch.io and probably my last, but I need to say it. Dear Mr. Caribdis... this is... a masterpiece.

The truth is that I am looking for these kind of games for the reasons majority of us understands, but also for the story. I am a novel writer and I am constantly searching for ideas in places someone might call unusual.

I wasn't expecting much when I opened the game and went through first few events. But the dark story that has started to unwind later is simply magnificient. Despite how weird is that, later I was playing the game mainly to continue the story around the Grimoire. I am not a big fan of horrors and I won't lie some features you put in scared me half to death. And the end of 0.9 was... I'd like to say touching, but even that's a mild word...

On the other sight, there are many bright and funny moments, your characters are well-build and the graphic and number of CGs is stunning.

I don't know how, but you've done a tremendous job mixing erotic, comedy, mystery and horror all in once. I was not expecting that at all. Credit where its due, because all I listed above makes this is one of the best VN I tried so far. I don't think I will be able to forget about this story and I will definitely complete the game to see how you're going to finish it.
