Really fun premise and great art and design for just 2 weeks! I love the “conspiracy" and “trick” taking puns and real candy on the table sell it immediately. Your losing-a-trick rewards are the standout for me. That's what makes this more than another trick-taker, and the Raven Lord is a smart way to keep last place invested.

Two things I tripped on while reading: I couldn't find what the Greed Meter actually does. It's in setup and the summary ("apply consequence"), but the full rules never define the consequence. Also, you might want to check the round-two deal. You may not have enough cards at 4 players to finish the game. After dealing 44 of 45 in round one and players keeping 2 each, there are only ~37 left to deal 10 apiece, and it's unclear whether played cards get reshuffled back in. I’m assuming they are, but that’d come out in playtesting.

Nicer overall, though, an impressive amount of work went into this!

Thank you for the praise!  I was actually in the process of archiving this project, but your comment made me give that a second thought. I got as far in the illustration process as I could in a week, so most of the rooms are unfinished, but I think I’ll finish the outlines and think about finalizing the art. Two weeks simply isn’t enough time to give to illustrating 9 rooms well, much less the 12 I had originally planned. And, yes, playtesting is all this game will see for the foreseeable future.

Thanks! I think I spent more time trying to come up with the name than most any other piece I designed. It literally took most of a week, and it was pure chance, or really good luck, that I pieced it together and wove it into the story. By the time I found it, the story was already in place, so the story really directed the name. If and when you do play it, I hope you have as much fun as I did creating it!

Gotta admit, I was a bit underwhelmed, but that's because I was prepping myself for a bunch of completely random oddities. What we got was just so....normal. No bird skeleton bones. No rocks with mystical runes. It took me the better part of the first day to finally accept which parts I was going to work with. The ravens were an easy one, and I decided the ghosts were too much like the primary pieces to ignore. I dismissed both the pumpkins and the bookmarks because I just didn't feel them at all. That left the tokens and the dice, which I think everyone ended up using. I liked the books, but I couldn't fit a use for them in, so I set them aside.

Easily my favorite of all the submissions. This looks like it'll be a fun Halloween night game to play.
