A sarcastic question for an answer is not a nice way of answering people’s questions. By not nice I mean rude. Sure it was I that perceived it as rude, but maybe when I address it, don’t double down? See how me making it a question makes it sound aggressive? Like you’re supposed to know something super basic but you didn’t?
Anyway, I understand how it hurts to get told that you were being rude, but deflecting it and blaming on me makes it look worse for you. It’s nice that you apologized to the creator, I just wish I didn’t have to take a wild unwarranted and swing from you in the first place.
I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to rotate evidence in the few occasions where it was necessary. The controls were very briefly described and I did not really understand them, and then I couldn’t consult them anymore the second time it happened. Couldn’t find any instructions anywhere on how to do it at that point without replaying all of Case #2.
You know best what is useful and what isn't! If you're feeling like it's hard to tell sometimes, having an editor to help you with that might be a good idea.
There's no right way to write a story IMO! You probably know what's best for the story you want to tell.
If you really want our (or my) opinion, I think you're probably right on cutting filler fluff, BUT I don't think any of what I've read so far counts as filler fluff. It was all plot related, setting up environment, setting up character developmet. This is why I've been loving this story so far. You've managed to add all the juicy romance and character development with the plot building up around it, waiting for no one.
Ultimately it's your story and you get to tell it how you feel it's best! My opinion is simply that you've been doing a great job so far, and I have zero complaints.
