I feel like floaty jumps are overlooked a lot of the time. Super Mario World and N++ would be a lot more boring if Mario or the Ninja snapped right to max speed and didn't hang in the air. I think it's wrong to say that floaty jumps are imprecise and bad on the face of it. Sure, it may take more effort to land exactly where you want, but this allows for a lot of interesting decisions and level design. Even in this demo, having a floaty jump lets you skip lots of platforms which is fun and feels great to pull off, but its scary and risky when you go that fast. If you want to be safe, then you've really got to nudge the character along and that's fun too!

the jump isnt high enough to pass the first step?

i guess i didnt explain it well enough, but you die when the timer runs out, not when you get hit. And you can extend the timer by killing enemies

i loved that moment after i finished the first white statue. I was totally stumped as to how to get past the next one, until i hit restart and saw the two unused statues at the very beginning! very cool ( ̄▽ ̄)

I really like it, but I wish that there were more enemy types or some kind of changing environment, because the waves start to feel a little too similar

the open box level is really janky

but otherwise, its good!

that moment when i realized i was painting on walls was incredible!!!! i love this game!!!

if the finished version doesnt make it at least to the top 100, ,i will be VERY surprised

not sure what happened, but all the numbers are grayscale for me. not at all like in the image... also I'm not sure how to play it? who do I link?

such a shame that its broken for me (or maybe i can't figure it out?) because the concept is really cool!

cool game! only complaint is that the characters are slow and that positioning them can be finicky, especially with jumps
