Really like the monochrome look and good gameplay, but it is a little awkward how the character flips their direction back and forth while you shoot. Maybe just bind the direction the wizard is facing to the shooting keys, rather than both movement and shooting?
Sorry, updated description. In short, press X to use charge to increase the democracy meter, press Z to use charge to decrease monarchy meter. Gain charge back over time. Random events cause meters to go up/down. Time when you use your charges to make the democracy meter max out and win, lose when monarchy meter maxes out.
