I second the antidote recommendation. Especially considering every single time I got hit by a move that had a chance to deal a status ailment it applied the status ailment without fail the entire time I played. Literally every single one every single time, as long as I didn't already have a status ailment. Thankfully the game froze anyway so I had to soft reset (to before the shiny wurmple I caught hit me with a singular poison sting) and was better aware of needing to get to the tent on the second attempt. It would be helpful to have some access to an antidote before the first tent or at least have the boat guy heal you, kinda like your mom in the official games.

Wanted to report a few bugs I encountered.
I was walking past the first avoidable grunt and he saw me last second and then sent out his Pokemon and then game froze before I sent out mine. Sadly had to soft reset and lost my shiny wurmple.
I keep encountering Pokemon upon stepping out of the grass. Encounter rate also seems insanely high considering there where times when I walked through 2 individual patches of grass and had 4 separate encounters back to back, 1 walking into and 1 walking out of each patch. Wasn't a huge deal but got kinda annoying to navigate when I was encountering Pokémon nearly every step I took during most of the time I spent playing.
Didn't manage to get past the Larry Sherry Yior back to back battle because the game either froze or crashed 5 times in 5 separate ways during the yior fight, first one froze as she sent out the Pokémon, second while swapping crashed, third just randomly froze mid fight, and 4th again at the start, 5 was actually after wiping,(which is going to be the next glitch mentioned) during the white out dialogue the game crashed. I wonder if it had anything to do with my Beldum evolving right after fighting Larry but before the dialogue to start the Sherry fight? Not really sure.
Most major of all the glitches though for me was she had knocked out my first 2 of 3 Pokémon, I used the third to revive and heal them then let the third get knocked out to safely swap in and the game considered me having no usable Pokémon. despite both my other Pokémon already having been revived and fully healed.
A few minor dialogue glitches here and there as well such as when talking to my Marshtomp it said she "smeeled a sweet scent" or something like that and when aqua ring healed a smaller amount of hp it said 0 instead of the correct amount.
Also as someone else mentioned some types are wrong, Marshtomp is water ground not pure water.
Somethings I am looking forward but I'm sure are being worked on are abilities and being able to swap moves around. Could maybe use a bit more level balancing as well since it basically went from being on par with lvl 15s to suddenly facing lvl 18s but wasn't that big a deal and took em out without too much issue. I do think its well designed to have the variety of water types earlier while facing the rock ground fire team at high levels. Resolves some of that balance issue.
Overall super great game and am looking forward to playing it a ton more but will probably have to take a break until I can trust the game to get me through these fights since its been kinda frustrating having to go through the full dialogue for all 3 fights back to back 6 times. Especially since the third fight is tough enough without having to reset due to crashes and freezes and glitches. Though honestly might hop on to grind a bit more and maybe catch some more Pokemon since I am under leveled a good bit still for the Yior right. Maybe evolving my Beldum before starting it will help prevent the crashes as well, who knows.
