try it out and give me some comments! my second game ever, so wld be great to get some feedback :D

thanks for playing :D! im glad it got ur brain working :) yeah the last level had a mini mis-drawing, definitely needed to playtest it more!

thank you for playing! :D i spent a lot of time thinking about the different levels, so i appreciate that u noticed!

yeah, i think the spinning doesnt really fit the chill theme, will definitely workshop it!

thank you for playing :D i was hoping the mega spin could be more of a like magic spell alacadabra type of thing, but ur right when u say it doesnt quite fit the rest of the game

cool idea! it was really difficult getting around to the vending machine and back :( maybe placing it directly in the middle or removing some collisions wld help a lot

it wld also be better if i knew where each item was for the normal items, i had to click through everything to try to find potatoes, and i still didnt manage to so i lost the first time D:

hmm might be a glitch! i gotta check it out

i see the vision! thank you for letting me know ur thoughts :)

thank you for playing! :D didnt know my game was different from other games in the theme!

thank you for playing! :D

thank you for playing! :D

thank you for playing & for streaming it so i know how people are interacting with it! :D it genuinely gave me an opening eye on how people perceived my game. and thank you for appreciating my art, really took me far too long :’)

thank u for playing! :D

yeah i realised the word clues didnt quite match the potions itself - which was a misjudgement on my part, kinda forgot about the clues and focused too much on the background. i definitely need to playtest it more so the potions make sense!

thank u for playing!

yeah i added the sfx last minute so it sounds a bit off. actually i wanted to make the background clickable but i ran out of time :( if i had the chance i would have made it clickable!

the first stage was meant to be a straight forward tutorial, but i realised people didnt quite notice the hints that were meant to be “obvious”, and thats prolly because i knew what was meant to be “obvious”.

and ah! okay i agree with the timer. definitely should have added one but alas time again :(

definitely have a lot of things id love to change if there was more time & id love to keep u updated if i do!! :D

thank you for playing and ur comment! mm yeah i may have made the spinnin a tad bit too hard, i’ll def let u know if i make it easier to play!!! :D

thank you for playing and for your comment! will definitely take the previous attempts note into account :D

no need to apologise for the long comment!!!! i actually appreciate it more than you know :)

you telling me the math really put it into context how difficult my game is and how much more playtesting i need, i will definitely do more of it the next time i make a game! thank you so much for all your feedback, it has really been very helpful to me :D

thank u! will definitely take these into account when i try to polish up my future games!

thank you for playing & commenting! thanks for letting me know abt the visual bug, didnt know it was an issue till u let me know :)

will definitely try to playtest more so the answers are more intuitive!

this was absolutely amazing!!!! i have no idea how you managed to come up with such  good idea, i love the sounds and THE VISUALS OH MY GAWD!!! RLY HOPE U WIN!!!

the visuals are beautiful!!!! the inventory is indeed kinda blurry though :(

i was quite confused on how to play cos ive never really gambled before nd i lost everything hahhaha, maybe some rules for how to play for newbies could work? i LOVED the start part where you showed how everything worked with the boxes nd zooming in, it was lovelyyy

TOP NOTCH !! THIS WAS SO FUN!!!!
only issue i had was getting confused with why i couldnt enter the toilet when the man went in, would be nice if the change in end toilet location was more obvious!

thank you! you have been very sweet to me on discord and here as well. i'm really grateful for the support and motivation you give me!!! :DD u dont even know how much it all means to me as a beginner :')

thank you for playing! :D i spent a lot of time on the art, so THANK YOU!!! i added the plop sounds in the last hour, so im really glad u liked it as well!

honestly 17 attempts seems to be pretty good considering everyone's feedback! so i think ur a pro not a noob ;)

thank you for playing!!! :D

do u think it would be better to put in all the ingredients followed by spinning/clicking? i did it in this way so that there was a way to remove items as well! i'd love to check out potionomics, sounds really dope!

THANK YOU!!! i'm really glad u enjoyed all the little touches, i spent far too much time designing up the UI.

the fun in the game meant to be the lack of history! do u think it would have been better to have history or have the history pop up after a few attempts?

also i fixed up the stick a while back, so im surprised it's still hard to grab D: maybe gotta make it bigger fs!

actually 17 attempts is REALLY GOOD from what i'm seeing!!! congrats :D THANK YOU for telling me i should be proud of it :') went through a lot of self doubt about how good the game is when i first released it, and i was shy to even mention it to people, so thank you, this comment really means  alot to me :DDD

thank you for playing and for your compliment! :D

i think the clues in the scroll may have been difficult, need more playtesting! as for the background, maybe its just a skill issue (jkjk).

yeah 5-ingredient potion was meant to be tough, but i was thinking of having a note book after 3 ish attempts! let me know ur thoughts :D

thank you for playing! i really spent a lot on the art, so im grateful the music and art seemed cohesive and was enjoyable for you.

also yeah, i think multiple people mentioned the clues being a little vague, gotta workshop it!!!

PS.S. we can be noobs tgt! :D

thank you for playing!

now i'd say that the sfx were a bit too loud

yeah i noticed this too, but i unfortunately decided to add the sfx in the last hour before i submitted so i didnt have time to edit it :(

you spin in the other direction, you can remove the last ingredient, but it's only visual

thanks for pointing this out to me! i didnt notice this was an issue :O

the hints were helpful even tho they were confusing at times

yep a lot of comments mentioned that, definitely need to better workshop the clues! :D

guess my game must be pretty tough since there's 35 attempts LOL i wonder if its really a bug or i just made the game too hard

thank you for playing! and for your lovely comment :D

THANK YOU :D very grateful for your comment!!!

thank you for playing and for your comment! :D

I agree with the feedback that the order of words in the description is confusing, it seems like you have to deduce almost purely based off of the background instead of the description (which sometimes leads astray.)

yeah after i released it i realised the descriptions don't really make sense. definitely needed more time to revamp it D:

The biggest thing to add would be a list of past attempts, I continuously forgot what I had already guessed, especially in the later levels.

i actually did think of this! but the fun in it was meant to be not knowing past attempts. had a bunch of debates with my friends on which would be better - would a notebook that appears after a few attempts be better? let me know :D

(1 edit)

thank you for playing! :D i actually spent a lot on the UI, but i'm not sure what's the right pathway to make it even better

do you have any tips or suggestions for improvements? what app do you use for designing? im very comfortable drawing on my ipad so i veered towards using my ipad (and ibispaintx) for drawing

it is so well developed, with the beautiful visuals and sounds. i love how squishy the hamster is, makes me wanna squish it. i ABSOLUTELY love this concept and would love to play this as a proper steam game!!!

i cant seem to get past level 5, and once ur stuck down the pit in level 5 in a wheel, u just cant seem to get out. got me pretty frustrated, so i stopped there. thank you for creating and sharing this beaut with us!!!

such a smart concept!! a bit too brainy for me and the gameplay was a bit dizzy cos im not very used to 3d games, but it was rly interesting!

this is a beautiful work of art!!! what an amazingly creative idea for a game to use a spinny chairrr! i think the minigames were super engaging altho i couldn't seem to run away from the typing game....

only comment i have is that its a bit difficult to see where the (!) was coming from, and i had to move around quite a lot to try to find it (and bump everything and make roy mad)

thank u for playing & thank you for your comment!!! :D

thank you so much :') you're really sweet! i really appreciate your comment a lot

thank you sm for the aspect feedback! will use it in my next game jams :D

hmm alright! i understand what you mean, will take in the feedback for next game jams i do!
