Thank you so much! <3 Yeah, I messed up some of the wall colliders unfortuantely and by time i realized it, I could only fix so many of them. I'm glad you had fun though, I'm excited to do more with the project after the jam <3

All in all though, very well done <3 was a super charming and fun game to play

I forgot to close a few doors around, sorry you got stuck! <3 I'll definitely patch it out once the Game Jam voting is over.

Glad you liked the game though, thanks for playing <3

[UPDATE] the Dev has remedied the freezing issue, I have bumped up my rating! <3

Thank you so much, that means the world to me! <3

Awesome to hear! I can't wait to give it a proper try, I'm super loving it :3

Oh! So there was that first part that stood out to me where the dash would push you in one direction, but then clicking on the dash node would do the same effect but send you in the exact opposite direction. That was one instance where I felt they should be the same, at least; it was very difficult to get the reaction time to spin the cursor around, click the right area in the right direction, all while avoiding the obstacles on the walls and floors.

Still, very fun game though! Reminded me a lot of stuff like super meat boy, it was addictingly fun to try and master. :0 <3

Definitely one of my fave submissions all the same, great work, great style, super proud of ya <3

Amazing theme implementation and aristic style, I SO dig the Analog Horror/Haunted PS1 Aesthetic. Super good game, great audio and visual design, and thank you for adding some settings for volume! <3

There was the one bug where when you interact you sometimes get frozen, but besides that it was a game I had a lot of fun with. Great mini-games, great story and super good horror. Well done!

Super fun! A bit hard on desktop, but I'm sure on mobile it would be much easier to control. Very good use of the theme, love the PS2/Y2K aesthetic; reminds me a lot of the Jet Set Radio era of games. Very fun! Though a bit loud.

Very cute, adorable characters, and LOVE the art style! I noticed the bug too that Cows pointed out with bear, but I still found it all quite charming and fun. Very good work!

Very fun, good flash game aesthetic; audio is SUPER loud on PC though, I had my computer volume level on like 10/100 and I still had to mute it. But fun game! Good upgrade system, but nothing really seemed to meet the Spring Theme.

Still, very good game. <3

Loved the way you used the themes! Great work, super fun; was a bit hard when the colliders on the grasshoppers kept me from reaching the movement location, and I couldn't break out of the run cycle. Otherwise, very cash money! Well done. :D

Also, love the day night cycle and the stock photos are AMAZING. Love the use of them, very charming game.

Love the tower defense genre, very fun take on it! I love the art direction, reminds me of the old pokemon games.

lmao I forgot I already commented, still, I mean every word!

I love the gameplay, found myself addicted as soon as I hit play. Reminds me of the flash games I used to play as a kid, very good! <3

Very cute, love the sprites; wish there was a bit more audio. Some music or a pick up sound!

Otherwise, quite cute!

Love this! <3 Really cute sprites, good projectile gameplay; love the rogue like elements. <3

This game was mad fun, ended up playing for so long. Great work! <3

The collision detection was a bit wonky and I ended up going through the objects quite a bit, or being teleported around by them. But overall, very fun concept and I ended up playing qutie a bit. Well done! <3

Thank you for playing! <3 Iloved your game as well

Glad you enjoyed it! <3 You did super well on your entry, too

Thanks for tryin'  out FoA <3

Bumped up my rating! Thanks for taking the time, I love the new thumbnail you made. <3

Docked a point for the AI generated thumbnail, but was a surprisingly fun lil game. I'm glad you learned so much during the experience, too; well done!

Really fun gameplay loop, surprisingly addictive. Very nice! <3

Really cute characters, story, and art! I had a ton of fun, a very enjoyable platformer. <3

Really fun mechanics! I did find that it was a bit  difficult to navigate with my colorblindness, and some of the controls felt like they were reversed from what they should be. Otherwise though, VERY fun game and I had a blast playing it. Well done! <3

Thank you so much for playing! <3 And thank you bigly for all the feedback, I'll definitely keep this all in mind for when I revisit it.

Nuh uh YOU'RE cool! <3

Red doors are kickable, pressing F (or whatever it's rebound to) should do the trick! I'm working on making it a bit more intuitive, will hopefully push an update soon for some fixes

(1 edit)

I've noticed that it has trouble saving settings values, I'm working on that now. Also pressing F will allow you to kick doors open! You can enable tool tips in the settings for the tutorial.

I appreciate the feedback, I'll try to knock these out today!

Edit: Also F is the default kick key
