Hehe, thanks for the praise! And yeah, I know a lot of creators lose motivation along the way and end up abandoning their projects, but I really enjoy bringing these stories and their characters to life, and that's what keeps me going. :)

Anyway, I hope you have a lot of fun playing my games!

Thank you ! And no, for consistency reasons, it's not possible to reactivate it mid-game because it would create bizarre situations where you said you would never share your slaves, and then dialogues would contradict that. This option is really only for those who are certain they will never interact with this type of content.

As the text below says, you should not click on all the evidence but only those that seem relevant to you.

Unfortunately, some people fall for this kind of scheme far too easily, even though it’s such a simple trick. Most of the time because they don’t spend much time online, but sometimes for other reasons, like a poor understanding of English. So, adding more warnings doesn’t hurt :).

⚠️ For several months now, many bots have been sending messages multiple times a day containing links to so-called updated versions or new game sites. These links are, of course, malicious—do not click on them. Itch.io’s moderation is somewhat overwhelmed at the moment, and I can’t be online 24/7 to remove these messages, so I’d rather give you a heads-up.

You don't need to click on all the evidence, just the ones you think are relevant to the investigation. If you select enough, the suspect(s) related to them will appear in the center of the screen and you can validate them.

There are 5 possible suspects, it's up to you to see which one you think is the culprit.

Hi. There is no official Chinese translation, and if anyone has done one, I'm not aware of it. So you'll have to ask that person directly.

You can follow the progress of the episode on my Discord server, where I post the completion percentage every friday (currently at 36%). As for the full release, there are no definitive plans yet. The conclusion of this chapter is expected to happen around episode 12, but there might be more depending on the audience’s enthusiasm and my situation at that time. It’s a bit hard to plan that far ahead :)

Héhé, thank you  and glad you liked it!

HS2, same as for my new project (Inanna Revenge), except that when I started AlwaysFan, my setup couldn’t handle graphic mods, so I was using DHH instead, which results in a lower visual quality. All software used is listed on the game's "about" screen.

I just tested and all the links are working. Could it be that you’re geo-restricted? (UK or somewhere else)

Don’t bother replying to him, he left a 1-star review with almost the same comment. Just a baby who has nothing to do on an 18+ game page.

Nice, glad I could help !

Merci beaucoup, ça fait plaisir à lire !

Um, that's strange. If this screen appears, it means that you have indeed placed archive.rpa in the right place but the game is unable to retrieve the images. Have you tried waiting a minute and then restarting the game? Sometimes it takes a little while for Android to 'notice' the new files. If not, it is possible (rare but not impossible) that the file was corrupted during the copy or download. In the first case, you can try deleting it and copying it again, or re-downloading a new copy.

No need to thank me, you’re doing quality work and you clearly deserve more visibility. Can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

Hey hey! I stumbled upon your game by chance and decided to give it a try since I also work with Honey Select 2 for the visuals in my projects, and I’m really glad I did! The story is great, the characters are engaging, and the touches of humor are very enjoyable. Keep it up!

PS: I agree with some of the other comments, you should consider adding more hosting options or uploading directly to Itch.io, because Mega has been buggy with some browsers lately if you’re not using their client, especially with large files like these. Google Drive also tends to impose somewhat random download limits

Yes, the apk is 75 MB, but there is also a game folder containing the game data that needs to be placed in the correct location.  This is explained on the game download page and when you launch the game. A step-by-step guide is available in the archive (pdf file) or here.

After thinking it over, the only situation where I can see this error happening is if you loaded a save from version 0.1, immediately did a rollback (which undid the update to your save), and then continued playing until you reached a fight in Episode 1.
If that’s the case, loading the save again (without doing a rollback prior your save point), or simply saving and reloading the game to update the save, should fix the problem.

Hmmm, that's pretty strange. Is it a fresh save (made with this version of the game ) or a save from 0.1 ? And during wich fight do you get this error ?

Thank you !

Hello. All the software I use is listed in the game's ‘About’ section. For the magic, if you're referring to the graphic effects, I don't use anything specific, just Honey Select 2 mods, most of which come from ScrewThisNoise's BetterRepack. If you have any other questions on this subject, feel free to ask them on my Discord server, it'll be easier that way.

What bug are you talking about? During my tests, I didn't notice any problems with taxes. I just retested and everything seems normal. Starting from the initial situation (both gauges at 100%), the total income is 300g. Peasants pay a weekly tax of 5 bronze coins (0.05 gold) and bourgeois pay 1 silver coin (0.1 gold). Given that there are 4,000 peasants (4,000*0.05=200) and 1,000 bourgeois (1,000*0.1 = 100), we get 300 gold as expected. By increasing or decreasing the peasants' tax by 50%, we get a difference of 100 gold (50% of 200) and, similarly, the bourgeoisie give me a difference of 50 gold (50% of 100).

Thank you <3

Do you you use the correct version of Joiplay, from the official website (the one referenced in my installation guide) ? Another unofficial version exists, but it has many bugs, especially on older Renpy games.

I always make sure to update old save files so they stay compatible with the latest changes (except in rare cases where it's just not possible). So yes, you'll be able to continue from your previous save.

Thank you <3

Hello, that's interesting because no one has ever reported this bug to me before. Could you send me the error message or log you get during the extraction?

Simply load a savegame from before version 1.0 and the achievement should unlock. Unfortunately, if you no longer have a savegame from that era, it's no longer possible to obtain it (since that's the whole point of this hidden achievement).

I'm really glad to hear that my game inspired you and makes you want to create something of your own! As for streaming my work, it's not really something I have planned. I’m not sure there would be much patrons interest in that kind of content. Plus, I’m a pretty shy person by nature, so I’d find it difficult to comment on what I’m doing or interact with people live. Maybe one day I’ll make a sort of "behind-the-scenes" video if more people ask for it, we’ll see!

For the visuals, I use Honey Select 2. It’s a NSFW game developed by Illusion (a studio that, sadly, has since shut down). It comes with a tool called NeoStudio, which lets you create scenes featuring the characters you've made in the game. Daz is another solid option, though I’m personally less into its visual style.
If you go with the first option, I highly recommend downloading BetterRepack — it gives you a strong modded foundation to work with right out of the box.
In both cases, there are plenty of tutorials online to guide you through the process.

To edit my visuals, I use Gimp, a free alternative to Photoshop.

As for the code, I use Ren'Py, which is a great framework for building visual novels in a pretty intuitive way. It's built heavily on Python, so any knowledge you have of that language will be really useful if you want to create more advanced features.

Thank you ❤️ It's a pleasure to read and I'm delighted that you enjoyed the game so much.

Thanks for reporting this dialogue bug, it will be fixed in the next episode!

Hey, thanks so much for the review!

I totally agree with you, a lot of the dialogue could really use a rewrite. English isn’t my first language, and while I think my grammar has improved quite a bit over the course of the project, there are still plenty of awkward lines and mistakes, especially in the earlier parts of the game.

Right now, alongside working on Inanna Revenge, I’m also spending a bit of my free time translating AlwaysFan into French. It was originally supposed to just be a straight translation, but as I went through the English script again, I noticed a bunch of issues I couldn't ignore, so I’ve also started fixing and polishing the English text as I go. I’m not promising I’ll do it for the entire game, that would take way too long, but whenever I spot something that clearly needs fixing, I’ll definitely clean it up. I’m planning to release a patch (hopefully around the 1.0 anniversary in early August) that will clean up a lot of the writing.

As for the rest of your review: I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and the characters! This was indeed kind of a "trial run" for me, a way to learn the ropes with Ren'Py and Honey Select, and despite the rough edges, I’m still pretty proud of how it turned out.

Yes, there are plenty of sound effects and voices, from moans during h-scenes to giggles and even a few character reactions.

NICE !!! 😊😊😊 AND GLAD YOU LIKED !!! 🔥🔥🔥

There’s a default link generated by Itch.io in the top right corner of the game page, but it’s true that it’s not very noticeable. So, I’ll follow your suggestion and add a link at the bottom of the page pointing to my other game.
