I think adding a map would be helpful, however, I do think that part of the gameplay is figuring out where you're going and where you came from, which a map would get rid of. I wonder how adding a map would impact game play.

I agree! Many talk about visuals adding to the atmosphere, but I enjoy how the text leaves the horror up to the imagination. Music would be perfect to add to sell the vibe even more.

I agree! I think that the narrative is very hefty. While it's impressive and interesting, it takes a little bit of time to get going.

Interesting idea! I think this game is more about having to let go of someone because they already let go of you, if that makes sense. Like, getting over someone when you get dumped. Definitely and interesting concept.

Adding on to this, I liked the random event mechanic. At first I thought those events happened every time, but multiple play throughs shows me that gaining/losing resources is completely random. I find this mechanic very interesting and unique to the different games.

adding to this, in concerns with the interface, I would also suggest that to space the CTA's and the text further away from each other. The longer text boxes get overlapped by the choice blocks for some reason.

What a brain teaser of a game! I would add a score counter somewhere on the screen, just to add to the stress of knowing that you are failing. Maybe you can make the easy mode integers so that the player has some hope in the beginning.

I feel like the game would benefit from a visual map or guide, or some sort of visual that represents the areas that you're exploring! Something some others mentioned were fonts, which I think could help contribute to the mysterious atmosphere of the game itself!

I enjoy the simplicity of the game, I think the minimalist style works well for the type of game this is. In the future, you could add a sound effect, or even an effect on the scree, for every time you got an answer wrong or right. If you don't want to give away how many answers they got right before the end, you could add some sound to the end screen as well. I enjoyed this game!

In the future, I would think about adding a back/restart button, just to make it easier to explore. You could also add in a surprise ending, or an unexpected option to on of the choices. The game is great as is, I just think adding a surprise would make the game even more interesting. Good job!

Weirdly enough, this game and the idea of a computer becoming sentient reminds me of the movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (niche pull I know) . Something about the similar ideas about working with a technology/computer that you trust and use so often, then the computer turning against you is interesting to me. I also think that this idea will become more and more relevant as we progress in technology and the use of artificial intelligence.

I really like the use of randomness in this game. Rather than relying on meaningful choice, the game uses more skill and timing to move the narrative. This game reminds me of both Kelani's dragon game as well as the button mash scenes in "Spider Man" where you have to test your reaction time.

I enjoyed exploring the interface of this game! This game reminds me of "A Normal Lost Phone". Both games share the same premise of going through an unknown person's phone. I enjoy the unexpected twist when you click only a certain button.

The jokes that are made here reminds me of the comidian Liza Koshey and her videos and youtube. You share the style of jokes having a speculative or thoughtful idea behind the joke, almost like shower thoughts.

What a great and comprehensive game! I think you spent so much time and effort into this project, and it really shows. The design choices really sell the narrative that you are producing. Everything, even down to font you chose and the color scheme, all works well together to create an immersive environment of a arcane engineer, I like the textures that you used; those really sold the story the most.

I think this is a very good start to the game! It has the classic feel of a classic text based story-telling game. This reminds me of the game series "Riddle School", especially the later games. I think the design of the text, and the way text is used to indicate uncertainty in the characters is a great design choice.

This is a very humorous game that I think a lot of us can relate to.  I think this is a good critique of modern capitalist society. Do you think  humor is a good way to formulate this argument against modern ideas of working and jobs?

There is so much in this game, it's so awesome! Exploring the world you created was very fun. I liked the way you used meaningful choice within the game. I also enjoy the clear and distinct paths you created. I also really enjoyed the art style that you used. Great job!

I think this game is very interesting and thoughtful. I think that it can get a little confusing at some parts, but I also think that that may be purposeful. Good job using the narrative style to make the player feel as disoriented as the character within the story. Definitely a game you have to play through multiple times.

I like the simple yet effective style of this story. The incorporation of different endings had me wanted to play through multiple times. I believe I got every ending! I also enjoyed how you used comedy within the story.

Definitely giving Jurassic Park right from the get go, the music has a lot to do with that. I like the use of the particle system to make the volcano even more interesting.

Very interesting concept, can't wait to see more of it!

This kinda felt like a horror game, it intrigued me from the start. The subtle ticking in the background is a nice touch. You did a great job of using sounds to create the feeling; the silence being penetrated by the player's footsteps and  snoring really adds to the unknown and eerie feeling. Additionally, good use of scale to make the player feel like a scared child where everything is so much bigger due to fear.

Very dream-like game, which I enjoyed. It felt like that dream where you keep walking but you can't really go anywhere. Good use of music, it really adds to the feeling. I also like the room you created, it feels very put together.

The minimal setup really does a lot to emphasize the feeling of loneliness and being left behind. The contrast between both sides of the room is a good detail. In the future I would add even more personal assets to the non-vacated side of the room for an extra touch. I would even think about adding music, like that one classic minecraft track, to emphasize the feeling of solitude.

You definitely accomplished what you set out to do! The mix of sounds was very aggravating :p. But when the sounds stop, I got freaked out just because of the sudden change and quietness.  Good mysterious ending, I would like some narrative in the first room to build up/hint to it before. Interesting idea!

I really enjoy the music used, it does a lot to set the tone of the game. The use of text also adds to like a museum-esque feeling. I would add more assets in the future to make it feel more full, but very nice!

You went above and beyond for this project! I really like the interactiveness of this game, especially the inclusion of physics. Great use of assets to make the world feel open-world and large. In the future I would add a more definite end and add sound to the ball, but other than that it's fantastic!

I really like your placement of assets, it feels like I'm in a nightmare! It's almost like ratatouille and we're the rat.

Your use of size and scale is fun and interesting! In the future, maybe you could use colliders so the character can interact more with the assets.

The background/white noise does a good job to make the game feel eerie. I like the use of repetition for the assets, I think it adds well to the art aspect. The game looks cohesive. Good work!

I like your use of symbolism and repetitiveness to tell your narrative.  I also think you did a good job adding text to make things clear. Maybe you can add some music that changes through the scenes to add to the story.

The use of physics and the jumping mechanic was interesting. The continuous increase of tension and stuff happening in the room made the game fun to play and watch. In the future, you can think about adding music/sound to add even more meaning and feeling.

The use of scene changes is interesting. I also like the use of music to increase tension. Maybe you can add scene changes or more assets and models to add more meaning and depth.

Good use of audio and text to establish the mysterious feeling of the game. I also like how each setting adds more to the narrative, but it still remains a mystery. Good use of game design to guide the player.

I absolutely love the drawn art inside the game! I think you could use some mesh colliders on some of your objects in the future. Maybe you could also add music and sound to add to the alien feeling. Overall a great game!

I really like the themes you explore in this game. The use of sound really adds to the unnerving feeling of being inside of the brain.

Great attention to detail! The use of multiple rooms really helped the emersive experience of exploring the cabin. Additionally, the use of sound when you leave the house is a good detail that adds to the feeling of the game. Fantastic use of objects to demonstrate the narrative!

This reminds me somewhat of The Beginner's Guide with it's feelings of being trapped and confined, like the prisons. Good use of a range of textures to really get a homey feeling. Maybe in the future you can consider adding music to add to the feeling or something else to add/extend the feeling.

Very spooky! You're use of lighting and sound really worked to create a mysterious and unsettling feeling. I think all of your textures and models all work well together. My only comment is that I wish there was more to explore!
