Thank you so much for the kind words and for supporting Ashley! 👻
I’m really happy to hear that you like her concept and that she works well with OpenRouter for you. The fact that she remembers what you like and can play the playlists you use while gaming is exactly the kind of companion experience I want Ashley to grow into.
And yes, I completely understand the concern about the permissions. Ashley is not doing anything malicious, but because she can interact with the desktop, browser, local services, voice, and optional PC actions, Windows can show warnings or permission prompts. I’m already working on making this feel safer and less confusing.
In the latest update, I moved more of Ashley’s local behavior to a localhost-only setup, which should reduce some unnecessary permission prompts. I also want to get proper code signing in the future so Windows can recognize Ashley more clearly.
About Pet Mode, thank you for reporting that. I just worked on a fix for messages being cut off, so the latest version should improve that. If you still see the issue after updating, please let me know and I’ll keep checking it.
Thank you again for buying Ashley and supporting the project. It really means a lot, especially while Ashley is still growing.
