removing the compatibility file fixed it. i think the only new prefence mod i have is kemzima's dietary life mod so maybe that's the conflict. i also have a seasons preference mod but i didnt have issues with cas until i got kemzima's dietray life mod and then the update for simstrology. 

this mod is causing me issues in cas, the menus wont appear when i have it in.
