there are certain times when you cant look around with the arrow keys, like when in the point and click mode signified by the like green door with an arrow. When you first switch to a floor, you'll see that the area looks just a bit different, 3D looking. Likely, you'll be looking slightly downward at the floor. That's when you can use the arrow keys to look around. Hope this helps! :3

AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I'm so happy this game exists!! Honestly the characters are so lovable and also slightly relatable (cough cough dj roadkill)
Also, I've noticed to little talking errors in the demo that i'll point out.
The next section contains minor spoilers for the game, so be aware!
1.) During the scene where Ramon is making a joke about people being cooked in the fire from the building Rosita started, Kalei appears on screen, but the text box says that Ramon is saying "I don' tink dats fun-" or something similar to that.
2.) Same concept except it's Rosita talking about her dad taking a table from their neighbors yard. It shows that DJRK is saying that line, not Rosita.
All in all, I think this demo is amazing and I really can't wait until the full game release comes out!!
the demo for this game was absolutely amazing!! from the artstyle to the backgrounds to the sound effects, all of it really blew me away! i really love how there are different accessibility options to make it more inclusive as well.
the story so far is very intriguing and im curious to find out more about magda's and the others backstories. also glad to see the palms on grace's hands. a lot of artists overlook that little detail in darker skin tones and im glad it was added in!
im not sure if this was intentional or not, but when i did finish the demo and was brought back to the menu, there were black rectangles over the 'start' and 'help' buttons although hovering over them quickly fixed it. kinda spooky but it definitely added to the atmosphere of the game!
i can also proudly say after playing that i am officially a magda kin. shes so amazing and girlboss and so relatable and im not saying i kin her only because she gives off wlw vibes and i may or may not also be in love with maria.
in any case, this a a beautifully designed demo and im very much looking forward to the full release of this game!
