Hi, thank you very much for trying our game jam game :D
May I ask you where you played the game on (browser or emulator)? It should work properly on most GB or GBC emulators and on most browsers, it only doesn't work on mobile phones. (Sadly itch.io at the moment does not have full integration with these)

The game itself flows as follows:
- The opponent shows up carrying a shield with a letter symbol upside down
- You select a bullet (letter) to use and then you shoot:
  - If you selected the wrong bullet (letter), the bullet ricochets at you and you lose 1 heart which is indicated in the bottom corner of the game screen
  - If you selected the correct bullet (letter), the bullet pierces the shield beating the current opponent and the screen goes black while the game proceeds you to the next opponent without you losing any more hearts
- This loops infinitely until you lose all of your hearts

I hope that this helps with the confusion :)

Very nicely polished and complete game. I just don't know how far it goes :D couldn't beat the 4th world as the enemy speed becomes pretty crazy and even bunching them up was difficult :D I did encounter that on couple of occassions enemies just go off-screen and hide. Sneaky buggers :D

Such a lovely game! I really like the idea for the controls which makes missing a ring such a chaotic experience to me.

It took me a while to figure out what I need to actually do :D but afterwards I definitely enjoyed the nice little loop that you have made.

I appreciate you checking out my game! I mostly only intend to do some small improvements to this game. I intended this game to be more fleshed out but in the end, I just couldn't spend enough time.

Thank you for checking out my game. I appreciate your feedback!
