But if refreshing the game is fixing it then I think you just need to click on the game to select it (itch.io is like that with web games, so I can't do anything about it)

And also yeah I did take some light inspiration from smash bros with the whole 4 player fighting game concept 

I use Construct 3 as my engine and I use both Autodesk Sketchbook for HD art and I use Pixilart for Pixel art

Those are just my personal choices tho if you wanna make games to I suggest trying out different engines and softwares and seeing what is best for you
