And also yeah I did take some light inspiration from smash bros with the whole 4 player fighting game concept 

I use Construct 3 as my engine and I use both Autodesk Sketchbook for HD art and I use Pixilart for Pixel art

Those are just my personal choices tho if you wanna make games to I suggest trying out different engines and softwares and seeing what is best for you

Also tip if you are near the body they will automatically report you 
So to increase your chances get as far away as possible from the body

Yeah this game has kind of been dead...so no future updates sorry
