I think it’s in a couple of Ironsworn collections I was perusing. I had it in my wishlist for a while before purchasing. But my solo ironsworn campaign was in dire need of simplicity and this brought it in spades.
I’m toying with simplifying my assets in a similar way, with a generic asset for each category (combat, path, etc.) and using tags to keep them narrow.
I know the assets and advancement aren’ta part of your personal play but I think it would benefit the document to have more guidance on simplifying those in some fashion.
Keep up the good work, it really is a great fusion of two great products with some great overall rpg philosophy.
The way this streamlines Ironsworn/Starforged is fantastic. I love the base game and all it’s moves and what not but having a more direct method of play that doesn’t require hemming and hawing about which move is “correct” is a great change of pace. And the addition of factors to effect are a clever way of adding far more options to challenges while still leaving things simpler than the base package.
