I just played through the game and I absolutely LOVED it. I can't wait for more! Only a few minor issues I ran into, though!
THE IFFY:
The running doesn't feel or sound like running? It's almost too slow. Maybe also an autorun feature? In some areas the running feels like it's supposed to, strangely enough in water—especially with the long hallway with all the hole skylights.
The slides seem like they need more physics? At the end they abruptly stop and then you just fall in instead of going SPLOOSH careening out of it LMAO
I love love LOVE the fact that you can slide down (almost) all slides. I wish we could go in all the pools, especially the ones at the beginning. Maybe have some kind of toy at the bottom, like the sinking rings to collect? Same with the dresser—were the drawers supposed to open at all?
THE GOOD:
THE WAY THE DRIPPING WATER SOUNDS WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE POOL?? SO COOL. The exact sound from my childhood when I got out of the pool, 10/10.
The rooms themselves are super unique and I especially love the [REDACTED] in the large room. I was almost expecting it to move to watch you. 👁️
I wanted to explore the area with the rocks!! It was super well done and made me reminiscent of the old "Game of the Month" games on CDs in the 90s.
All that said, it's a PHENOMENAL game and I look forward to however you decide to expand it! Very, very well done.
(I also ended up playing through it twice because I totally forgot the flashlight was a thing, I was so immersed LOL)
