Oh, sorry. You're meaning when I'll stop with the demo updates? I'm not entirely sure. I was originally planned this year's demo to be the final demo, but I'm unsure for now.

The full game will go back to 1.0 but without the "Demo" label. If that makes sense. Like currently the game has "Demo v4.9.0" rather than just "v4.9.0".


Kinda of like what Minecraft did in its alpha and beta days versus post launch for example.

Also, I need to elaborate a bit about the level count. No, I won't add 9 more levels to a demo. What the game has right now as a demo itself (8 levels and a boss fight across 3 worlds) is already unusually huge for a demo on a game like this. I am super generous, but the demos will never go past Molten Factory's first round. The next time you'll see more levels, it will be in the full game, which will be paid.

I appreciate your anticipation for the game with all that said and I hope you'll enjoy it when the full game is out.

I do an update or two yearly because it is a game I do on my own free time. But I do want to speed up development.


Last year was slower because of my health issues but I have improved since then. I am also helping on other people's projects too.

There will be a demo later this year! But the next demo won't have new levels, but there will be plenty of improvements and touch ups on what's exists now. I do have major plans for what comes after the next demo, which I won't say what yet until whatever I'm doing is far in, so stay tuned for that.

Games won't launch from the launcher for some reason. Error I get on the console:

ERROR: execute: Condition "ret == 0" is true. Returned: ERR_CANT_FORK

   At: platform/windows/os_windows.cpp:2940


EDIT: The PDF launches just fine however.

Hmm, I might have a faint idea of what may be going on... What is the full Directory of the game on your computer exactly, if it's okay to ask?

Not sure if you're implying my game is a straight 1:1 Mega Man clone or not. My game while inspired by Mega Man (and other games) does a lot of things differently to help set it apart. :/

Linux version sadly isn't planned due to the engine limitations. But the game does run very well on Steam Deck via proton.

Thanks, it means a lot to hear that!!

There are no other platforms planned atm. If you're meaning consoles, I especially don't have any means to do that without doing something that costs a ton of money that's beyond my reach. I don't have much money myself and I've been making this game on my free time as a hobbyist project. 

That said, I do plan to release the full game here as a paid game, with the demo still being freely available so people can try before buying. I haven't decided the price yet though...

I hope I can meet everyone's expectations when the full game is completed. It really means a lot to see so many people receptive of the demo! I'll keep working on it in full spirits. <3

I planned to give a better CRT filter but there's barely any other CRT shaders available for ClickTeam Fusion. So unfortunately this is the best I can use for now.

Yess! Selena is honestly my favorite character, you will see her appearing in the upcoming demo next week.
