thanks! No just the 4 types in this version. The build I have on now has a range of anti-particles to mess with as well, but that'll be uploaded after the jame voting finishes.

Yeah, I have some thoughts on a more complete version, where you have to combine particles and get the correct ones to the correct detectors, but that'll take some retooling to achieve!

I agree, just a bit rusty since my last game jam was a year ago. I've got some plans to try out in the future and have a more structured puzzle game. Hopefully you can see it when thats the case.

Thank you! I was a bit rusty on game jams, so I unfortunately just ran out of time to add more in! The build I have locally has a whole range of additional particles and will be released after the jam ends!

Thanks for playing the game! We're working on updating the relic feedback just as you suggest. Adding a targeting reticle that pops up with the name of the object, and some audio feedback when it is picked up. Sound generally is on our list to fix up, and we'll be getting a sound-designers input for some fixes once the voting window is finished.

Glad to hear the response to the 2D effects! We really wanted to capture Coarsecurve's amazing art-style in the game, and they do some great character work. We'll be fully animating them to have walking cycles and some visual variations.

The pixel art style is neat, and the sound effects make the arrows and the "fire up" feel cool.

I didn't get past the 2nd level because the game sometimes crashes with this error in the console. "Unhandled Exception - Uncaught TypeError: Failed to set the 'value' property on 'AudioParam': The provided float value is non-finite."

Deflecting the arrows is awesome! and i really liked the music.

I really liked the historical cases to preside over, and including the historical context was a nice touch! I never quite figured out what determined if my decision was going to be well-received or not, especially when I got the same case a few times in a row and had different results.

Competing against the other Vikings for treasure was cool, though they always died by the end!

oh, I only saw the beauty score. How does the competition select a winner?

thanks! It was my first time experimenting with making music for a game, I think it turned out well!

Very fun, though I got stuck on level 3 when I opened the wrong door first, oops!

I will forever be haunted by the frog spirits!

The flower breeding idea is really cool, but winning or losing the competitions felt a little arbitrary. Maybe if there were a few categories that flowers were rated on.

The art is great! and it feels very smooth to play.

Very cool! I really like how unique and thematic each piece is. I think it could be cool to have some pieces that cross their type. Like having a 'Stork' that is an air type that benefits from adjacent rivers.

A very sweet story, I hope Cleo finds her way home!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. I'm excited to see what everyone else submits.

Hi everyone!

I published a prototype version of what I've been working on for the Jam if you want to check it out.
