Yes, this plugin does include everything from the Shake Screen Effects plugin.

Shake Screen Effects is completely replaceable with Animation Screen Effects.

As of writing, I'm updating the Japanese descriptions to properly reflect the available parameters (Although, I'm not particularly fluent at it!)

Edit: Both the above issues should be resolved by this update. If you're still getting problems with options not being retained after resetting the game, apologies for the additional work, but please start a new Save file.
