I completely agree with you.
I think that up to a certain point, it's "fair" to highlight and offer rating opportunities for games that haven't recieved many views. But I could imagine that doing so would involve some kind of reward, for example, appearing on other people's lists or something. Because in reality, I've voted for many games, still have games on my waiting list so I can't vote for games I've chosen to play, and my game still has no votes. It makes everything tedious and frustrating.
It would also be helpful to have an idea of the number of games in our queues, because I initially thought there would only be 5 and then I could vote on the chosen games, but it seems to be infinite -_-

Hi, I would love your feedbacks on my game:) And I would be happy to test yours :-)
(plzz leave feedback on my game page (or both) so I can come back to it later, even after the jam is over, as sometimes they delete the submission page) <3

Aaah, yes. The "witness a fire" quest isn't working; I'm trying to figure out why. I also noticed that it was difficult to find the remaining 2% to extinguish, sorry haha. Thank you for playing <3

Thanks for your feedback ! and for going into detail :) Yes indeed, I spent a lot of time on the plant and fire system, and the enemy system was implemented late, so it's not fully developed yet. It definitely needs to be more challenging.

Thx :)

I lost 2 times ^^' I didn't entirely understood the Steakhouse minigame I think. It's as if the results had no bearing on the outcome of the match.
Story is cool. I would have liked to have some sound design.

Hello everyone! I'm very motivated to test and rate as many games as possible. However, I still have a lot of games to rate, even though I've already rated about a dozen^^
And I would also really appreciate your feedback on my game <3 (send any comments on my itch page plzz so I can come back to it later)
I've spent a lot of time on plant growth and fire propagation, and not enough time to polish the gameplay. I'm eager to hear what you think :) https://ariako.itch.io/heatwaves

You're welcome :) I would really appreciate it if you could also take a look at my game and give me some feedbacks (on my page plzzz so I can read it easily). I think the weak point is the gameplay becauseI ran out of time to fix some bugs, so I'm removing a lot of mechanics. But I need playtesters =) https://ariako.itch.io/heatwaves

Haha, I understand, but it could just be information at the beginning of the game, for example. In any case, it's a cool idea :)

I was confused at the beginning (it took me 10 min to figure out that the rock-paper-scissors game had been right in front of me from the beginning^^) , but then I really enjoyed finding strategies. And I lost at the 2nd round :(. But nice work and cool music ! :)

Great gamefeel! I really also like the sound and visual interpretation of the "waves" theme :) Suggestion: integrate the controls buttons into the GUI so you don't get stuck and have to go read them on the itch page ;)

Great project, well done ! Game rated :p I was totally into it :) Have you seen the movie Arrival (2016) ? The beginning strongly reminds me of it, and I recommand it.
Is it normal that there's no music ? Cool drawings. I also love that you posted the alien plaque; it makes me want to translate it :)

Ahahaa I enjoyed it :) simple and effective. I would have liked to know my score at the end, but the crowd seems to be caught in an endless wave xD

I love your art and concept ! I can imagine some other simple rhythms, but they might be too difficult to play. In the third and fourth rooms, when I died, the game restarted from the beginning, which is a bit frustrating.

...I know... T_T I'm still figuring out why.
Have you tried playing it from the downloadable files ? Theses work perfectly.
If you want to do this, I recommend playing the updated version I just posted here :) --> https://ariako.itch.io/medusas-mutiny-2

Nice atmosphere and cool concept :)

I love it! The visual style is interesting :) I died in the big maze (a bit frustrating to have to start all over again!) Nicely done :)

Seems catchy but i couln'd figure what to do ^^' please post the rules and controls

It's very laggy :,( I couldn't play it (maybe it's my connection)

thanks ! :)
yeah, i’m trying to fix it ^^

Nice and fun! I love the art and the concept ! congrats :-)

Thx for playing :) At first you had to eat the beetles by clicking on them, but I didn't have time to fix a bug (the beetles couldn't be eaten 😅) so I made the frog only lick them to take their poison (witch increases on the red « healthbar » on the side of the screen) but I guess it's a bit confusing. And you have to fill the bar before the time runs out.

Thanks :) Yes... I'm trying to fix it :/

I love that little gremlin! :) I just think its lacking sound effect !

I like the visual style, and the concept ! :) But I couldn't succed to create antidotes, maybe I did something wrong? And the gameplay is a little bit slow.

Thanks so much! :)

Thanks for your comment !:)

Thank you @jerebee :)

Hahahah x) SORRY . But true. I've made some significant changes on the new version, if you want to try it again. There is some big adjustment (bug fixed : room transition, collisions, projectiles, and a new health system, a lot of new rooms etc.) =) Thx for your feedback :)

Thanks for your feedback :) It's difficult to measure the difficulty when you are making a game, so I take good care of your comment ! I 've made some changes (for example the projectiles you create are now harmless for you) and bug fixing (the rooms transitions,...). You can find the new version here if you want to try :)

I love the mecanics !! Really nice done and complete, I enjoyed playing this :)

Your game is really well practiced, well thought out. The cara-design is great :D
It took me a "day of work" to understand that I had to accept the packages myself when I wanted.
I like the fact that we can have the choice, to accept smuggling or not, or to follow the job's rules or just farm resources. Anyway congrats :)

Hello :) https://itch.io/jam/-pixel-game-jam-2024/rate/2712880 <-- My game is about a legged mermeid dreaming about her Ocean being suddently empty, and searching for water <3

I tried to focus on visual art because I'm new to game dev world ^^ I would appreciate any comment and honest feedback because I would like to continue this project after the voting week :)

I love the offer :D  Here is my game --> https://itch.io/jam/-pixel-game-jam-2024/rate/2712880 It is about a legged mermeid dreaming about her Ocean being suddently empty, and searching for water.
