Glad you liked it!

Thank you so much! I agree the screen size is annoying lol, I would with more time probably decrease the height but ah well. Glad you enjoyed it!

I really like this game, wish there was a bit more and also if you could review your mistakes if you made any. I think a bit more guidance potentially on what should get a person spared or reaped would be nice (although I did get 9/10 going off intuition so maybe that's unnecessary). Very fun, I'd love to play an expanded version of the game.

I really like this game! It's a really nice short story. If I have any feedback, it would be that I do wish your choice of cards somewhat mattered (it seems to just affect the order they're selected in, I think it would be cool if there was some randomization to start and then maybe ending with a deterministic sequence). Still, this is a very charming game and impressive for a Game Jam!

I really like this game. I agree with some other commenters that I think that you can just make it so that you can manually open the shop rather than having to walk over to it. I also think the damage system is a bit unclear (e.g. two rooks and a queen did 2 damage to me but then two bishops did 8 damage and killed me). Still, a really fun game I had a good time playing, well done!

This is an incredibly good game and I wish that more people were playing it. Hats off to the developer.

Yep those are all really valid concerns. Glad you still had fun though!

A very fun silly game. Only thing as someone else said is perhaps you could make the hitboxes more generous but had a blast playing!

Thanks for the feedback! I def received a good amount of comments about the blind jumps and how the controls feel so that's something I'll improve on. Glad you like the core concept though!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree not being able to play in fullscreen is annoying, kind of just introduces artificial difficulty based on the size of your screen.

I like the game a lot, it's a simple concept done quite well. My only concern would be that I think you can have a larger screen as I think as it currently is, you often run into enemies which spawn on the side (or perhaps a warning system for where enemies are coming from?).

Thanks for your feedback! I agree that the jumps can be floaty at times (which can be a no for platformers) but my thinking was that the full control of your left/right movement allows the player good control. I appreciate the feedback for the platforms, I had a type of platform which was solid for longer than it's empty which perhaps I could've used more than the 50/50 which most of the toggle blocks were. Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! Credit goes to the people who made the music but I did think the contrast was quite funny. And I'm really happy as well with the cover art.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! In hindsight, I could've added a quick basic tutorial with the controls and goals.

Thanks, that's fair, I suppose that I do kind of want the player to learn a little bit by experience. Perhaps I could've expanded the scope of the camera but there are certain areas of the map that I think you do have to die some times to figure it out (which I'm okay with).

Thanks, I would've liked to add some more shop items but decided these were the easiest ones to implement and I didn't want to overwhelm the player.

Yeah I playtested with some friends and decided that it's more fun to allow the player to jump around (the powerups are meant to be quite good so I'm very happy for them to be a bit op).

Really clear game, love cosy games like Mini Metro and this has that kind of vibe which I appreciate.

I agree with the other comment that playing very defensively does seem to be by far in a way the optimal strategy. I think the base concept of the game is really solid and could be expanded in a lot of fun ways (e.g. forcing players to play x cards in a turn, allowing players to customize which cards they use). Overall though, this was a very fun game!

This is a short but fun game which builds the setting really well. I do think I would've had an easier time using a controller though lol.

As a math enjoyer, I really loved this game. The puzzles are really clever and difficult. I got through a fair few before eventually getting stuck although I got one level with an extra tile left over so I'm happy with that. My one piece of feedback (although it's very nitpicky, this is a really good game) is that I think there could be a button to recall all of the placed tiles since I did mess up a couple of times and have to rethink everything.

This is an incredibly polished game and a really fun playthrough! I got the true ending in 3 playthroughs.
