Thanks a lot! Maths feeling rewarding, instead of punishing, was one of the goals. However, this created some clarity issues. The answer sounds seemed to be insufficient feedback and as you say, there is a lot going on  ^ ^u !  I hope to refine this in an updated version. Hope you play that one too  :)

I can see this mechanic working as a minigame or a quest. Even more, with additional features, polish and levels as its own thing. Great!

A short complete game/interactive story. It was nice to discover at the end why the enemies "didn't do anything". Great job!

Long live ducks! A very nice jam game.

The puzzles and the idea of connecting boxes to solve them is great! It got me until the very end.

Glad I saw a recommendation for this game. A complete, fun and coherent experience.  I can imagine this as a startup for a very nice videogame. Great job!

Thanks! I learned a lot making the effects and I am very happy you find them enjoyable!

Thanks  :D

Multiplying them by zero... yes! Thanks.

Thanks!!! I am glad you liked the concept. One part of me has been thinking to make the questions and the powers independant (as people may take more or less time to think) but then they can just... click whatever? I dont know  ^  ^U  Also, not a problem at all! I saw your game and was a very nice job!

It is a very interesting take on the jam theme. For a first level the difficulty was a bit hard, as balancing movement by momentum without any chance of correction or impact adjustment is quite a challenge. A very fun one though! Your art style is very unique and I read you did it. Extra points in graphics because of that!

Thanks a lot! You just need to choose the highest number (or operation) to fill the OP bar. As it fills all your moves, attack and defense, get better and stronger. I will keep working to make it more clear ☺️

I find it very interesting to use videogames to tell stories. Nice!

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the feedback 💪. Sound was (and still is) a real challenge so for sure I will look into it. About the operations, and especially for bigger ones, it is more about intuition and using math shortcuts, as I dont really expect anyone to calculate the actual answers on the spot. Hope to make it more balanced and fun after the jam 😁

Thanks a lot!

I like how you introduced the concepts and mechanics of the game. They were simple, but even with that you managed to pull a fun challenging game. Great!

Presentation was pixel polished and the concept was good!hope you get to develop this after the jam.

Flower power! Nice perspective made game.

The core mechanic for an awesome game is there! Nice job.

Great effort was put in this entry and it shows!  :3  Would you consider adjusting the controls for an improved experience?

Did they live hapy ever after? Cute job!

Thanks!  ^  ^

The concept behind this game is very interesting.

It is a good start. Push forward for even more creative, original and engaging interactive stories!

It is better than my 75908 demo trial! You sure did great until the end of the song, when the demo ends. I am also glad you like the art style! Right or wrong answer, the powers still come but the OP gauge fills or depletes. I noticed that the system and feedback on "correct" answers was not so clear just one day before the jam end, so I totally feel you and hope to improve it in the near future. Thanks!

Both me and the guy in the back really appreciate it!  <3

The player can decide to grab or punch with each arm, correct? If the player grabs with the left and punches with the right, then the player actually punches the zombi they have grabbed if looking at the left. If both arms are grabing, when the player throws a zombi, it just changes hand (again, depending on the direction and hands of the character). I meant that kind of interactions.

Great graphics. Squirrel is cute, and cuter with hat and thousands of acorns. Nice entry!

Does she come back when the counter reaches 0? Was the custom mod installed by Truck-kun? So many questions, so little answers XD. Good job!

Charming game! The puzzle rooms were interesting. Would you consider making the paths more clear (I did not know there were paths until I read it here in the comments) and to avoid overheating so quickly?

The grabing system is quite interesting.  It has a small issue (feature?) with being left or right handed. Extra points in graphics because of the happy faces, even in the health bar!  (o  w o)

Kudos for participating. Keep developing your skills.

What a fun anf well finished game. No glitches, nice animations, even charming details here and there. I think this is a solid entry. Great work!

This game is so creative and hilarious! More than that, it is also very visually polished and even the credits are made with care. Great job!

The villains are so cute! The game loop is great, even if pillaging towns (as cute as the villains) feels a bit sad.

Peak graphics and awesome atmosphere! If you include a nice game loop this can become a very memorable game.

This game deserves more love! What a hidden gem. Congratulations for this entry!

The game is beautifully done and well crafted. The potion system is quite creative! Would you consider making it less linear in the future? Also, the menus tend to overlap with each other and make navigation a bit difficult. Small things to polish but all in all a great job!
