I love the aesthetics and mood you made in the game! It accurately portrays Ito's works. Would love to see the continuation.

I really like your game! I like that you took the serious problem of delivery and used “friendly images” and techniques to show it. I like how you made the mini-map, it looks very good and fits the game look. I also really like how you created a camera zoom in and out when we move forward. I would love to see more obstacles and city traffic in the future development as well as the city growth!

Very cute setting and graphics, I like that you used farm and daily routine as an inspiration. I like the music and sounds, they fit these bit graphics. Maybe on the first level, you can make fewer stones to collect, but more ships, or make their trajectory more complicated like going in circles? Because right now collecting all the stones slowly makes it a bit overwhelming. I think for the WebGL version the screen is cut a little bit, I hardly see the boundaries and some objects are off-screen. And also the text is overlapping each other. I tried to pass level 2, I trapped some crowns, but some of them disappeared, so when there is no left of them the text still says I have to trap some birds. So, I couldn’t pass this level. But overall I like how your game looks and feels!

Oh, I love how you improve your game since the last playtest! This also reminds me of the topic of traditional social expectations towards women and how hard it is to break if your family sticks with ‘rules.’ I love the sounds you pasted, they create a little fear, but curiosity at the same time. I also like that you changed the chains and the hands, so we really feel like manipulating a poor mannequin. I also like that you created this inverse win of breaking the chains and falling instead of going up and listening to the rules. Great concept and your gameplay and endings accurately represent the idea.

This is fun to play! Tho I died several times because I thought I have to fight the mage. The illustrations are cool and I like how you made the ladder to the next level, so it feels like we are in the castle or dungeon. It would be great to have some background music or sounds from platforms or the mage. Also, maybe the jumping is a bit high? Or you can also widen the surroundings, so the player can have some space to jump and walk. Some more traps or new enemies might be working as well. And it would be cool to see the actual princess in the end!

doesn't load for me as well(

Omg, the illustrations are so beautiful! This really feels like something eternal and spiritual. I wonder how you came up with the idea? And for these wonderful illustrations would be great to add some sounds and music to create engagement with the gameplay. I also stuck in the colliders several times, not sure why, maybe the shape of the colliders is complicated? And also somehow I get teleported to the next level from the second when I fall. I really wanna see more of this beautiful story and drawings!

The illustrations are so cute and the sounds and music fit your game very well! Haha, you know how to make the player frustrated, a lot of hidden traps and die one-shot is pretty hard. But I won in the end! Tho had to take several times to pass each level. I like how the music becomes faster in the end, almost creating tension with each level. And the way characters die is so funny, I mean you still can walk a bit further and then die.

Some suggestions: maybe the speed is too fast? Or the traps might be too close to the player right now. I understand you want to make it hard, but that might work well in further levels and not in the very beginning. Also, as I mentioned we still can see and play the character after death, so in the beginning, it made a confusion, because you can’t understand what exactly hit you. There are some problems with colliders on platforms, sometimes you get stuck on them, and even if you jump you can’t move. But overall I like your idea and game very much! It would be interesting to see a princess as a villain as well.

Hahaha, I love this game! Kill the fashion! I also immediately recognized the soundtrack, is it from a YouTube audio library called ‘giant’? I like how you stick with your concept from the playtest I remember you randomly generated your idea? And you make it so good! I wish there were more levels and more designers to kill lol. Also, I like you made a narrow screen, so the player intuitively knows they should go up. The logo icons on each box are brilliant! Maybe for the future development levels, you can add more obstacles or designer’s assistants like ‘mini-bosses?'

The concept is great! We are stuck in our social media and care about it more than real life, so unfortunate. I like the character animation when you jump, it's so cute! And I like how you make it go up instead of just going horizontal, so it makes sense when you fall and lose in media space. I tried my best, but I died a lot hahaha! Still can’t reach the final boss, but I’ll try to make it!

Some things to consider: as some people mention it would be great to have some background music as well as maybe some sounds on ‘dislikes’? Because sometimes you see them only when you jump on them and you die immediately. Maybe it’s also a good thing to have several lives? So when you get hit you can continue, but have fewer lives. Maybe jumping is also a little bit too high, since you have a double jump you can accidentally hit ‘dislikes’ you don’t see on screen. Overall, great concept and game!

I like the 3d sound of the snow and the walking penguins are so cute! I wanted to go with them first :’D And then I realized it’s the wrong way. I found my friend hooray! This snowy place looks so lonely and it makes you feel that you are missing someone and trying to find this person.

Something to consider for future development might be: making the colliders a bit smaller so you are not stuck in them and maybe increase the player’s height? Also when you are going out of the house music and snowflakes are gone. I wish there were more penguins! I also like the hints and the distance indicator.

This game is so beautiful! The music is so nostalgic and your color palette looks astonishing! I wonder how you made this glass effect? It looks very at the topic of memory, dream, and death. Also, the beginning and ending foggy background is amazing! It’s so sad to hear the main character dies in the end. The second room with the upside-down office reminded me about Alice in wonderland.

When I played I accidentally fell, but couldn’t reload, so maybe for future development, you can add the menu button or the quit button. And that also can be in the ending scene. But honestly, I like the way it is right now when you hear the sound and the black screen representing death. Very powerful!

Thank you Jasmin! This is very helpful!

I enjoyed playing your Star Kirby game! Even though I didn’t play the original game I think you recreated it great. I like the colors and graphics on separate levels. The animation of the main character is hilarious! And as you mentioned on your devlog player can be stuck when the star block overlaps the path so you can’t move. Maybe different positioning of the blocks might help. That would be great if you create more levels with more obstacles in future development! Overall I think your game is amazing.

I really like the graphics and colors and how the characters switch on different levels. The blinking and sound are adorable. I feel like the player's movement is too fast, but that creates a constraint where the player has to be careful of their movement. That would be really fun if you will add more levels and obstacles in the future development. Also, maybe for the WebGL version in the browser, you can adjust the screen settings so WebGL would fit into the itch page window. I guess you can do it in the project publish settings.

I enjoyed playing your game so much! Music is amazing and these steps sounds are creating the right atmosphere. Somewhat I could pass all the levels from the first try, but then when I tried to replay I stuck a little bit on the second level. I agree that dancers' shapes look like umbrellas and that creates the feeling of open stage performance under the rain. I also love how you described your process and worked with coordinates, this is amazing! I agree about building and uploading after checking the game thoroughly because I have a similar situation with multiple copies of builds because of little imperfections. Overall great concept, If you build more levels in the future I will definitely play!

Wow, I enjoyed your candy thief so much! Is it a Hansel and Gretel reference? I like that you made a thief movement a little slower so you can feel you are actually sneaking inside the house. I really like how you created the traps. I didn’t read the instructions first and was surprised they were killing you haha. About the future development, even if you are running out of ideas you can add more traps and unexpected obstacles, maybe more candies and also the Candy Witch? Would love to see how this character will look like. I also think it’s great you have the instruction in the game.

Your bunny is so adorable! I love how you described your process and future development ideas. I think the right thing you mentioned about obstacles and treats (even though I forget about round coconuts all the time) is to make them either change their coordinates or place them near the object player needs to collect. Some sound and little animations will make your game even more fun!

The illustrations are amazing! And the music is so calm and mediating I love it

omg the sheeps are so cute!

I love the colors and how you calculated the position of all objects!
