I loved the sprites and aesthetic of this game. As a player though, I wasn't able to pick up the key to open the door, I think the gravestones were supposed to be health stations (that idea was really cool, taking other people's bones to replace your missing ones!), but the gravestones wouldn't work. I wanted to keep playing, but I wasn't able to progress. Overall, this was a good game! :)

Although it has a simple premise, this game was pretty fun. It quickly turned into a horror game though as all the enemies on screen started blitzing towards me. One thing I think could be improved is player movement. To me, it felt a lot like there was no way to avoid some enemies (which did add to the horror element). The projectile mechanic also could be made to be faster and more accurate. Overall, good job!

Thank you for the feedback! In the future, I'd love to make another horror game that's more fleshed out and polished. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Just a heads up, you can skip the intro cutscene by pressing ESC. Also, this was the first game I've ever made. I'm so thankful I participated in this game jam. It was such a great learning experience!

At the beginning of the game, there's a cutscene that lasts for about half a minute. You can skip it by pressing the ESC key.
