I tried playing the browser version, but the alignment was off. The opening screen was completely cut off, and in game the top of the platforms were at the bottom edge of the screen so it was impossible to see what I was standing on. With some work this will be a cute platformer though!

I've been trying to think of a good way to add more feedback for partially correct guesses - that's a great suggestion, thanks!

Very cool game. I love that you can change perspective to really see what's going on.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I'll let you know when I've fixed that bug.

I had the same thought about about composing an actual melody then placing the letters accordingly, but didn't have time to implement it. Maybe I'll add some more puzzles later and try that approach. Will definitely be tricky on my end, but would probably make it a little easier for players.

I love this idea! I'd suggest making the hacking difficulty progressive - like at first you only have one variable to control, then add more as you go on. And build the math lesson part right into the game, one step at a time.

Ah thanks, found it! I was being dense XD

Am I being dense, or is the Wavepicker 2000 hidden somewhere?

I made an ear training game. Unless you have perfect pitch, it's pretty challenging. Let me know how you do! https://ar0se.itch.io/scillyscope

Great idea! Only problem I had was that it got a bit annoying when halfway through a word the focus would change to a different mob. Would be nice if the current focus was indicated in some way.

Tysm!

This game made me laugh so hard! Thanks for that XD

I only succeeded on two of the minigames, but still solved it on my first try!

I suggest making the instructions ("Press E to...") bigger/more noticeable. I missed them at first and thought I was stuck in the first hallway.

I'm glad it made you use your brain in a fun way! I was worried it would be too hard and therefore frustrating.

Thanks! Do you mean you couldn't toggle record off in Firefox? (You have to do that before you press Play.) It's working properly there for me. Can you help me figure out how to reproduce the bug?

Well done! This game was deceptively difficult in a really fun way. It would be nice to have a pause button and a way to go to the settings menu from within the game.

I love the aesthetic, and liked most of the music. It took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to be doing though - some instructions and a visual cue when hovering the points over each other would help. Also the "wrong" noise got a little irritating since you hear it so often.

Thanks for the head's up. Had you done anything at all yet, or did it load broken somehow?

For those playing in browser: A button = Z, B button = X

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I've had ear training classes too, but was never very good at it. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd be able to solve it myself. 😅

Thanks! Can you tell me how to reproduce the bug?

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for letting me know about the bug.

You've got a good start here. Once you've fleshed it out and polished it up, you'll have a nice little game!

A minimap and some textures/scenery would go a long way. The first thing I did was get in the truck to drive around and immediately got lost in the abyss

What do the numbers on the recipe box mean?

Thanks! Yeah, I'm realizing I should have done that. I'll add that feature after the voting period.

I love the soothing atmosphere! The sprites and sounds are great. I think it takes too many hits to kill the mobs though. And I wished the text at the beginning showed up a little faster.

Fun idea. I had never heard of the first superhero. On my second try, the game ended saying "you can only guess 10 times per day" just before I was able to enter my last question. Would be nice to have a dark mode option.

Very cute. I like the mechanics of the potions and the mushrooms. I didn't get past the first level though. Something about the physics feels off. And the level was too hard while still getting used to the controls. Would be nice to include W as an option for jump, and the arrow keys as an alternate (for those of us with tendinitis.) Also, some of your Settings controls are conflicting with browser controls - ESC closes fullscreen, Ctrl + W closes browser tab.

Fun little game! The mechs look great. The gameplay needs some polish though. Shots weren't really lining up with the cursor for me. P to pause only pauses player, not the mobs! Also, when I fell off the platform, the game bugged out and I had to refresh the page.

Oic. If you were following coins, there was a way to get out. (The E cheat can help you find it ;)

Were you playing on mobile? And was it at the part where you have to climb up the vertical ladder bit?

That's a good idea! Phaser doesn't have a diamond option out of the box, but maybe a circle would work. I'll try it :)

Thanks so much! I did add a hint about how to use the cheat codes in itch page text, but maybe I should add something in game too. I like the way you found it though - you had the secret knowledge!

I totally agree about the sound and tunnels. I had lots more plans for them, but I ran out of time. I am wondering if I should remove the down arrow, to keep players on the surface longer.

Thanks for the feedback! The goal is to find all the cheat codes then figure out the best path to collect the most coins in the shortest amount of time. I intended to have a leaderboard, but ran out of time to implement it. Were you playing with keyboard or touchscreen?

I love this game a lot! I do wish I could look around with the mouse and use Q and E for strafing instead. A squat would be nice too. Also, your 3D object are so well done - you should turn up the anti-aliasing so their edges are nice and smooth!

Love the artwork! I can't figure out the secrets though. Is getting a trophy supposed to unlock something?

This game made me happy. Wish it was a little longer

Played through the first bit. I like the vibe and the gameplay a lot! I'm finding the keyboard controls a little unnatural though; I'd rather use WASD to move and change the interaction key to something else (maybe ENTER?)

Cool game. But the tutorial text box covers the top of the play area on iPad.
