For the Arachne, the patch notes said something about the "post-'lover'" eggs not being a game over, so that's why I was asking about that.

As for the mermaid, it doesn't change with Catamite. Good call, though

Is it possible to un-grey/select the get egged option you see upon returning to the mermaid?
