Lovely visuals and art, the light music and ambience helped the atmosphere a lot, and the sound effects were really quite nice for being self-made. I would like to see a bit more happening gameplay wise though since it was a tad slow and easy. However considering the short nature of the game, it didn't overstay its welcome. Looking forward to the sequel!

thank you so much for playing! we're really happy with the polish and art

it's atmosphere all the way down!! thank you for your kind words

oh my goodness thank you so much!! i'm glad you love that story too, it really was one that changed how i saw things. thanks again for your support!

thank you so much for playing! you're right that there's no key (time constraints, regretfully), but i'm glad the vibes caught stood out, they were my primary focus.

thank you, it means a lot!

thank you!! the writing was a lot of fun to add to it

Thank you so much, it means a lot to hear!

I just played through it on Google Chrome and was able to open the door; are you perhaps on Firefox? If I recall correctly, I think Firefox had some issues with this specific version of the engine I had used. Thank you for playing though!

Thank you for playing! It means a lot to have someone play it. The area projection was a leading reason for me working on this, I hope it inspired you to pursue your own ideas!

I am supremely late and I apologize since I missed this comment, the Market does seem to be the last one! I'm considering revisiting the project and expanding on it with some more polish. Thank you for your comment all those years ago.

Hey there, thanks for playing the game, I really appreciate it. It seems that some update over time may have broken the HTML embed as this is a bit old unfortunately. I'm playing through it again right now to see if I run into the same issue.

Thank you so much for playing it! I'm glad you liked the mechanic, it was what I was trying to focus on for the jam.

why is everyone so mean to me

thank you so much! the game feel was a big target for the game so we're super glad it came through while you were playing <3

thank you so much! the art and movement were big focuses for the project. we're really glad you liked it!!

Really fun! I finished all of it in around 20 minutes (I wasn't exactly keeping track, sorry!). Got stuck on level 8 for a bit since I didn't realize I had additional tools, and got stuck on level 9 for a bit mostly due to figuring out how fast the cars would move.

I really liked the music and sound effects, and the graphics were cute. I would play more levels if there were plans to make more! Great job :)

Really loved the graphics and music! The dynamic guitar rolling in during combat was super cool. Also, the level design and UI were really great.

I did get fairly confused about where to go and how to finish since there wasn't a lot of direction when I was running through it (got stuck in the room unlocked with the Fire Key). Also it would be great to have a mouse sensitivity option! It felt super slow on my end.

Overall really looking forward to seeing more of this game and the things you intend to add!

That's very reasonable, thank you for the reply! Looking forward to seeing what you do in the future.

This is really cool! Is the source available anywhere? I've been looking into implementing this myself and would be really interested in seeing how you did this.

The pixel artwork for this game is amazing! That, the sound effects, and presentation all combined to make something really delightful and fun, I enjoyed it. Only problem was that the game was very loud, so I had to manually turn it down Looking forward to your future projects!

Hi, first thanks for checking out the game! Secondly, it appears that the engine version I am using currently (Godot 4b12) doesn't support Firefox on the web unfortunately. If you're on Windows, you can check out the download version if you'd like!

That sucks, I really hope Godot4 gets that patched up sooner rather than later! Also, I totally get what you mean, there probably should've been a bit more transparency on how much gold each activity did and how things affected everything else. Thanks for playing and for such detailed feedback!

Big fan of the aesthetic presentation and novelty of the different clicker actions to keep the gameplay fresh. The music was funky too, so that was a nice bonus, great work!

Very cute, I love the art and music! The idea is very original, to boot.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that! I got it working on my Chromium based browser but I didn't test Firefox. Does the downloadable version work for you?
